Maybe more than you expect because he was an LSU assistant for a good while, so he was still in our basketball universe after his playing days finished.

He lives in my neighborhood. Played golf with him a couple times. He told me he recruited Hot Rod Williams to play high school basketball with him when they were in high. school together. He was with Tubby Smith for a while too. Asked my resident KY basketball superfan about him. He said he was the bag man back when being a bag man was a thing.
