I was 11 in 1991. I distinctly remember that team.
It had to be in about 91 when one of my (few) fond memories in Oxford happened. As my very fuzzy memory recalls, we were down at half and Doug Hartsfield went off in the second half, carrying us to a huge comeback win. I was sitting in the OM student section and getting pelted with ice and bowties every time he hit a 3. I'm certain it wasn't because I was being obnoxious about every single 17'ing one of those beautiful Hartsfield over the shoulder cocked 3's.

You beat me to it. Those were bad times. He was 6’5” and the big debate was if he could dunk or not. Not sure we got a definitive answer on that so I guess not.
Oh he could dunk. Saw him dominate pickup games in the Tin Gym. But he just couldn’t keep up with the likes of Charles Barkley and Chuck Pearson.

Hartsfield hit three 3's in row and it was on for the comeback that the rebs couldn't recover. I remember it well.

Trivante Bloodman…. I graduated with him and before graduation they had us all line up on the Mize Pavilion practice courts. There was a graphic/banner with Bloodman’s picture hanging up near where we lined up. One of his friends asked him if he wore jersey number 2 because that’s how many points per game he averaged.
