I never said the league had it in for the Knicks. I said they want to see all of their playoff series go the distance. And the only way to do that, is to slow down the better team. When the Spurs aren't shooting 3 or 4x the free throws in a given stretch, the Knicks are almost always outscoring them. Last night in the first half was actually the first time to me, that the Knicks just weren't competitive.. but that was largely due to Kat having 2 fouls in a minute.
