Two big elimination games tonight for UK-centric NBA teams. Set the DVR, go have a nice dinner and a couple beers, come home about 90 minutes after first game starts and fast forward all the b.s. Herro had 38, and Bam dominated on defense for Miami the other night. AD and PJ are 40% of the Mavs starting lineup. AD basically rested the last couple of months to try to be healthy for this last Hail Mary shot at playing in. He should dominate against Memphis.

With AD/Gafford/Lively all healthy, which has only happened maybe 2-3 times all year for Mavs after the trade, the Mavs have the best rim protecting team I've ever seen. All are healthy tonight.

AD versus Jaren Jackson should be entertaining. I'll take Gafford/Lively over Edey in that matchup. Ja Morant is questionable, and how much Memphis gets out of him could decide it. AD averaged 30/15 against Memphis in two games this year with LAL, fwiw.

I went to AD's first home game in Dallas after the trade against the Rockets. The Mavs had Gafford and PJ, but not Lively. Kyrie also played that day. The Mavs were up 65-48 at the half and the Rockets shot 33%. They couldn't get a shot off inside the lane. The Mavs blocked 18 shots. AD went down in the 3rd quarter, PJ went down the next game, Gafford strained his knee the next game, then Kyrie tore his ACL. Everyone but Kyrie is healthy now.

Kyle Kuzma played 22 minutes and didn’t record a stat other than having 2 fouls .

That nuggets game was great!! Those that don’t watch, are missing games like that. Playoff basketball is completely different. Guys were diving on the floor and all.

It’s uncanny really. They have little to no interest, yet they give take after take.

And people say the nba blows but don't acknowledge the steaming pile of dog crap ncaa basketball is outside of UK games until the ncaa tourney.

The ncaa tourney is amazing and even with chalk we had some amazing final four and title games.

NBA picks up immensely with playoffs as well. Nuggets and clippers was a great game.

I watch the NBA all year. Greatest basketball players in the world playing at the highest level.

It is even better in the playoffs.
Yep. I've had NBA League Pass for several years now. College basketball has become unwatchable on most nights, and without the emotional attachment I have with UK and ETSU, I doubt I'd watch a single game. I can always find at least one great NBA game on any given night. They are the best players on the planet, playing an up and down game with great spacing, lightning fast ball movement, athleticism and skill level.

Does any other league have a five month playoff? I'll keep an eye on the Pacers, and might turn on the Finals game 7.

The NHL, because they are the only 2 leagues that have best of 7 each round.

Baseball could have a longer post season if they trimmed some of the super meaningless 162 game schedule.

Obviously football and college basketball are different beasts and one and done.

Playoff hockey is spectacular though. And the SCF are freaking awesome! There's few things in sports as exciting as the Stanley Cup Finals. Particularly a Game 7.

Not sure is we'll ever see a shortened MLB season. And I'm ok with that. I admire the history.

I've pulled against the Lakers for 40+ years now, even though I don't watch much NBA. I see no reason to quit pulling against them this year. If they would somehow lose in the first round, I'd very likely watch more playoff games.

I just hope my guy Ja Morant has a chance to flash some gun-like hand gestures in a playoff game.
That guy does some ill advised things sometimes.

But he is an exciting player to watch.

I watched him play at Murray State and knew he was going to be special in the NBA.

People compare him to Iverson. I think he’s better than Iverson. But it’s a good comparison on the court.

Just fearless. He’s every bit the freak of nature that Zion is. 👍

Better athlete than Iverson ever was IMO- both special players
