Lakers played the same 5 players the entire second half and blew the lead . They will be exhausted . Hard to see them winning the next game

I'd argue if the Lakers could have kept the Mark Williams trade....they'd not be down 3-1.

Make a move for a solid defensive big will improve the Lakers

Rigged per par, cannot wait for Bickerstaff to go off on the refs again. Garbage
Maybe JB shouldn't challenge a ****ing call in the 1st Quarter of a 10-8 game because he wants to "believe in my star player". I'm told Analytics are used in the NBA, right? What part of challenging a call in a 10-8 game 5 mins into the game is smart or worth the risk of losing challenges for the rest of the game? Bickerstaff is a guy who does a nice job with younger players and when you are ready to win-you upgrade. Same thing is going to happen in Detroit. There were several calls throughout the game that went against both teams-but that one will be talked about-but he showed he believed in his "Star" with the dumbest challenge in the sport.

Emotionally misfit people shouldn't lead an organization. It's not healthy nor productive. Bickerstaff has behaved like a 10 yr old who didn't get his way. There is nothing more obnoxious than NBA players waving their fingers to challenge and it's trickled down to CBB players and they don't even have the rule-which to me should resort in automatic Techs for being so stupid you don't know the rules of the sport you play. But I can tell you I'd be taunting Bickerstaff, his team if I were coaching on how stupid they are to want that challenge and applaud and thank them for being that stupid. Let's make this Series really nasty. Anyone who is that unfit emotionally will never change their ways-because they can't.

Tough loss for my Lakers.... don't like the call at the end I'm not so sure that foul was cut and dry.

I am also looking forward to the day Lebron retires hate to say it but he's kinda ruined Lakers basketball the last 7 years for me. If it wasn't for Anthony Davis I may of tuned out completely.

Interested to see how roster construction moves forward. Luka is a hell of a player but it's tough to win championships not playing two ways.

Agree. Unless his leg was fixing to fall off, they should've went ahead and OKd the physical and went all-in for a deep run this season. Reddish is about washed and Knecht is pretty much off the playoff roster right now. Knecht could end up being pretty good, but he's easily replaceable. As it is, their two best "centers" are Jaxon Hayes and Jarred Vanderbilt. That's shockingly bad for a franchise like LA.

It's a shame Charlotte didn't wait to trade Nick Richards and sent him to the Lakers instead of Phoenix. He would've been a nice fit with in LA. Now he's in a bad situation in Phoenix. Bradley Beal's no-trade clause is crippling that organization and Kevin Durant has one foot out the door.

Same here. AD winning a title was cool but otherwise, lebron era has been a dud overall.

Boston may win their 2nd straight title this year while lebron was pining to get his son drafted.

Lakers had finally caught Boston but now may be 2 down again.

LOVE that the Lakers are on the verge of getting eliminated. Haven't liked them since the '80s so it's not just Lebron dislike. So much media coverage every single year, heads exploding when they traded for Luka, etc. - I'm just sick of them. Hope the Wolves close them out and I might be able to enjoy the remainder of the playoffs. The Lakers are sort of the Duke of the NBA - any team but them.

I hope he’s not hurt. But missing him won’t make a difference. No one is winning with him playing.

Getting rid of Jrue Holiday so they could sign Dame was one of the dumbest of dumb NBA moves.
Jrue Holiday is my favorite NBA player right now. Dude just battles on both ends of the court and doesn't make stupid plays.

What's telling Stupid MF'ers they are doing Stupid MF'er things have to do with a keyboard? You ever been on a sideline at any level? There's more **** talking between players/coaches about little things and best believe someone like Malik Beasley is hearing about his "shimmy" when shooting 3 for his last 29 from everyone on that Bench. You want to take a challenge in that situation-you keep doing it and if the players are stupid enough to behave like reactionary morons-they deserve to be called on it. Want to change the narrative--shut the sideline up and beat them. Keep operating as they have-you get what you deserve.

What's best about he reactionary challenge signal from players is it's not because they are concerned the call is right/wrong it's about ego and not wanting to be seen as a guy who f'd up the game. Any coach with any sense would proactively talk with his Team/Staff about how they approach challenges but an insecure guy who got fired for not being a good enough coach to get Cavs over the top is so afraid of his status or so emotionally irrationally ignorant about how to utilize the system-you get what you deserve.

Bickerstaff wanted a loose whistle for the Series. He openly bragged about how it would benefit his team and his comments after Game 2 where Thibodeau was upset about the free throw discrepancy were a shot at Brunson "foul hunting" and how the officials need to ignore that. They did at end of Game 4 and he chased them like Coach K after Duke lost to UConn in '04 Final Four. Which is it? You either are about things the way you say it or you aren't. Strategy is about reading your opponent and sensing what advantages you have and watching Bickerstaff's act--agitate and taunt him and his team. They respond like immature jackasses and quite frankly they are at the brink because of it. They've outplayed NY in most of the Quarters but lose due to their HC failing them and the image they are trying to carry on rather than create their own.

On Inside The NBA on TNT last night they showed a few clips of the postgame presser from the Wolves and Randle was wearing a UK jacket. Thought that was pretty cool.

Leloser needs to go away.
Yeah I mean the dude is struggling. He only had 27 points / 12 rebounds / 8 assist / 3 steals / 3 blocks in game 4. Game 1 he was just as bad, 38 points / 10 rebounds / 4 assist / 2 steals / 2 blocks.

He has sucked all year, averaging 24/8/8. WTF you mean he should go away ? Just because you do not like him, doesn't mean he is not still playing at an elite level. I can't stand him, but I am not going to hate on the guy, he is a bad man, even at age 40.
