hope we get lakers vs heat but have a feeling we may get another lakers vs celtics tilt. Heat better finish celtics off tomorrow.
Yeah I’m really hoping Heat shoot the 3 ball better and close them out. Definitely feel like they want celts/lakes!
Much respect for the Nuggets...hopefully MPJ takes that next step and can become that 3rd threat for them but Murray and Jokic was sure fun to watch this post season.

LBJ was a terror all over the court tonight. If he wants to do something, he does it. Top five player ever to play.
He was scoring at will. No one was able to stop him.
I think at this point Lebron is past "top5"... 17 years in the league, playing at this level.. might win a title with his 3rd team. It's him and Jordan.

Lebron is past the top 5 argument, but he’s not in the argument for goat. Jordan has solidified that easily. People have to really stretch Lebron’s impact to make the case for LeBron. I have no issue with anyone saying LeBron is second to Jordan, but that’s as close as it’s gonna get.
I’m personally not convinced lbs for lbs he’s better than Kobe.
And winning championships on multiple teams isn’t something to use as a reason either. LeBron is a guy who will jump until he lands in the right situation. He’s good enough to win wherever, but I don’t think the quantity of teams has anything to do with the comparison at all.
If AD wins, he will join Frank Ramsey , Derek Anderson, Antoine Walker, Nazr Mohammed as the only UK Wildcats to win a National title and NBA title at Kentucky.
Maybe I am reading your post wrong, but just off the top of my head, Rick Robey was on both the UK 78 NCAA national champions and the 81 Celtics NBA championship teams.
At this point, any scenario but Tatum winning it is a good scenario.

I think he needs more rings. It would HAVE to start with a ring in these finals to get to 4. I don't think he needs to necessarily get 6 to be better, but I don't think if he had 7 rings that automatically makes him better than Jordan. But having 5 rings, at a dominating level, should be enough to put him side-by-sde with Jordan.
I think it does. It's 3 different cultures, and each time there is a form of "reset" that needs to be done. IIRC, all three times took time to adjust.. going to Miami, back to Cleveland. I think going to the Lakers worked from the start, though.
When you have Pippen, Phil Jackson, and not the greatest team of all time (Warriors) in your way, you keep winning and you likely never leave.
At the end of the day, playing at this level for 17 years, and likely beyond, is worth more than "well he kinda chased a ring" argument.
His first year in Miami they went to the Finals, same with his return stint in Cleveland. Lakers didn’t even make the playoffs last year so hard to say it worked out from the start.
unlike Jordan, lebrainless has to shop around for a team. he's not a team builder like Jordan was.
LeBron James drug a bunch of bums to the NBA Finals in 2007 through sheer force of will. I will always remember that more than anything else he’s accomplished.
The only teams that Jordan "built" have been terrible. Jerry Krause built those Bulls teams.
When was Jordan ever known for being a team builder? You can say a lot of great things about Jordan as a basketball player, but team builder is not one of them.Jordan? A "team builder"?
Some of yinz need your heads checked for damage if you're questioning Michael Jordan's incredible skills when it comes to building teams. Because over the years, Jordan's almost single-handedly constructed some of the finest doubles golf teams in the entire history of his Grove Gold Club. Nobody else has even really come close.
I'm not a LeBron fan, but if people want to compare the two, one fact cannot be left out... The Bulls went to the playoffs and won a series without Jordan. When LeBron left CLE, the Cavs went from the ECF to worst team in the league. Outside of that Jordan is the answer. People continue to compare the two, but it isn't a good comparison. The more accurate comparisons are Kobe was Jordan lite, and LeBron is a better Magic. LeBron isn't the greatest basketball player ever, but he is the most overall talented player to ever touch a basketball.
Tonight's game has the makings to be the most competitive game of the playoffs.
When did LeBron ever "shop" for a team? He has chosen to play for certain teams in free agency. He's never forced his way out like Kareem, Barkley, or numerous other super stars.
Once he joined those teams, the owners smartly built around the best player in the league.
Jordan had the benefit of having Pip, Rodman, Grant, and good 3pt shooting. Then having one of the two best coaches of all time. He wasn't winning anything without all of that.
Don't act like the way Jordan won his championships is somehow better than the way anyone else wins theirs, namely LeBron.
