I might be over thinking it but Lebron at times in this 4th quarter seems to be trying to rack up MVP stats instead of focusing on getting it to AD.

Lebron is that one player you know is looking at his stats each and every second lol

Looks more like the supporting cast not making shots.

Yeah I can’t say I’ve ever had that idea cross my mind about lebron watching him play. I think that dude just wants to win.

I have not watched whole game, but I’m wondering why Butler is looking to pass and Herro isn’t looking to shoot?

Fair enough... However AD has barely touched the ball since he went on a killer run in the 3rd.

Seems like roles are defined and that seems like the plan.

rondo has been doing the majority of ball-handling responsibility duty, initiating the offense.

Hes probably tired of half the nation... the older half, specifically.. saying he's not the best player of all time.

He is, undoubtedly, the most talented and gifted player ever. You start your franchise with him. But, he's not the most accomplished, though.. and that's likely what he's doing, trying to break records. He's going to spend these last few years trying to remove all doubt.

Another relatively easy win for the Lakers. But they are playing arrogantly. When they focus and play the right way Miami has no shot. Other times they just come down and jack up 3s. It’s a bad way to play, but easy to do when you know you can turn it on at any moment and the other team can’t do anything about it.

more specifically, KCP and D.G. they shot 3 for 19...lol (KCP must have made the last no pressure three since it was 2/18).

Davis with 32 & 14 on 15/20 shooting with several freak-of-nature-esque moves. He’s looking at finals MVP if he keeps it up. Unless they just give it to Lebron because he’s Lebron, which they might.

AD has been #1, but Lebron winning it isn't a big deal or bad. I think they want to run this again, anyways. They seem neck and neck. They both do special things for the team.

What I like about Lebron now more than in the past is...it seems like he is letting go of ball-handling duty a lot more now. Which is allowing Rondo to flourish.

A lot of the bench players for the Lakers are hot garbage at times.

KCP is frustrating
Green is inefficient if he is not hitting outside shots.
Morris, please don't get me started.

Isn't jacking a ton of 3s the best way to beat the 2-3 zone, though?

That's the shot that's given, so if you can consistently knock it down it helps.

But attacking the middle of the zone always seems to be effective, especially if the player is able to pass. Kind of what they did with Lebron, and Rondo initiating the offense.

You do want couple shooters tho, that'll help move the zone around more.

Yeah, Rondo and LeBron were working the middle really well.
AD, it seemed, is just incredible at making well-defended and "bad" shots. But the ones that go in are all good. It was just crazy to see him rising up over tight defense and nailing them.

I always believed that AD is an elite level finisher and Defensive player. It's also the reason I think he struggled to make the Pelicans a legit top 3 teams, even tho he is a legit top 3 player.

When he is catch and shoot, cutting for rebounds, running back on offense, and etc...he is practically unstoppable...Which is what he did at UK (but he's much better, as his offensive game as drastically expanded). Then defensively, the reason why Butler had so much assist, is because he couldn't get shot off against AD, so he passed out. Luckily those shots went in (for heat), and blame Laker's supporting cast for over helping AD.

The Lakers shot 47 threes last night. For a team that shoots in the low 30s from that distance that is way too many. Especially when their advantage resides in the paint.

The way they played the 4th was disrespectful. Not running the offense, 1 pass and jack up a 3 as if they were Houston. Luckily they’re playing an opponent who can’t make them pay for it. The Lakers can turn it on and off as they wish and Miami can’t do a thing about it.

It was over the minute the clippers choked and think the lakers knew it deep down. They knew miami, Boston and Denver couldn't beat them although Denver was more of a threat than I figured.

Everybody gets into the NBA hall of fame, so maybe this turns out to be right, but saying "sure fire" when referring to Chris Bosh and Kevin Love feels like a stretch. Plus, Wade was definitely not prime Wade after that first season.
Wade was still receiving MVP votes during Lebron's first 3 seasons in Miami.

Davis with 32 & 14 on 15/20 shooting with several freak-of-nature-esque moves. He’s looking at finals MVP if he keeps it up. Unless they just give it to Lebron because he’s Lebron, which they might.

Can't see the National Woke Association picking AD over Lebron. Don't forget that Maria Taylor left AD off her All-NBA ballot.

Lebron is averaging 29 9 and 9 at almost a triple double for series so far. People need to prepare themselves for him to get mvp.

Lebron will get MVP. It’s not up for debate. And he’s earned it. AD very close second. I guess it can be flipped over the next two games if AD goes crazy and LeBron lets it happen.

I think AD can still pull off Finals MVP. I don't think he will, but it's possible.
