Yikes, add in the previous potential constraints on Nov games, understandable why NBC wasn’t a happy camper.

I’m fine with RU not being on in Prime time until they have a team that can do something. Hopefully sooner than later!

Charlotte/MD in prime time is interesting. Charlotte was 3-9 last year. I would think Rutgers/Temple would get more viewers 🤷🏻‍♂️

Agreed. This could be a very competitive game, Warner coming out of spring ball appears to be bigger, stronger and is starting to really look the part of a Sunday afternoon QB. Rutgers defense will be a real test to see how far he has progressed. I doubt even many Maryland fans are that excited to play Charlotte, that stadium might be half empty. That game has dud written all over it.

All Giant fans of a certain age can remember the dearth of MNF appearances until that happened.

Warner say hello to Mr. Toure.
You were spared last year… be prepared.

Well, one would expect that in college football, but sometimes it just isn’t true because there are only so many blue blood teams to show, such as the time they showed Michigan winning a 78-0 game on ABC.

A little more info on the B10 schedule

Was figuring Iowa-NU as CBS, but still trying to figure out how CBS gets to 7 games this year.

09/02 at 3:30
09/09 at 3:30
09/23 Iowa/PSU at 8:00
11/24 Iowa/NU at 12:00

The night of ND’s other night game?
Labor Day Sunday (possibly 2?)?

Gotta say I’m liking this Nebraska/Iowa as a last game of the season for these two.

The banter back and forth between them is getting rougher and rougher the longer Nebraska has been in the B1G.

No animus towards Nebraska intended, but would be funny to see them continue to flounder until they realize that firing Bo Pelini was a mistake they will not recover from. I understand Pelini was a bad man, but what he said about their fans continues to haunt them: " Our crowd. What a bunch of f&&&ing fair-weather f&&&ing—they can all kiss my *** out the f&&&ing door. 'Cause the day is f&&&ing coming now. We'll see what they can do when I'm f&&&ing gone. I'm so f&&&ing pissed off."

He liked f word when referring to Huskers fans.

In the meantime, Pelini and Scott Frost should do a podcast together.

NBC chose to put Charlotte vs Maryland on Prime Time?

That was the best choice available that weekend?

My god NBC got ripped off by the Big Ten.

Rutgers/NW will be Labor Day Sunday. Maybe a double header when the SEC is in primetime? I'm not sure if that's allowed or not.

Rhule will have that team winning 10 games by year 3. Rhule is a jerk, but he is the real deal.

And if he doesn't, will you be sacking him as hard as you are sacking Schiano?
To be honest, I will be laughing my *** off. I couldn't personally care less about Nebraska football. However, Rhule will get it done, he is that good at the college game. I care about Rutgers football, that is why I expect Schiano to field a winning team and believe we all should hold him accountable if he doesn't.

Coach Prime might field a decent team (in a few years), but they have a brutal schedule this year with an entirely new roster most of which wasn't even on campus 3 weeks ago. IMHO, they will be lucky to win 2 games.

Interesting. One blockbuster. One MEH. And one "who cares".
The Syracuse - Purdue game last Sept was a barn burner. 42 points in the 4th, including 2 TD's in the last minute or so, If Purdue had kept their cool instead of getting 55 yards in penalties they would likely had won.

From ESPN....

"Aidan O’Connell’s 12-yard touchdown pass to tight end Payne Durham with 51 seconds left in the fourth gave the Boilermakers a 29-25 advantage and seemed to seal it for Purdue. But two unsportsmanlike conduct penalties were called against the Boilermakers after the touchdown, and they were forced to kick off from their own 10-yard line. Courtney Jackson returned the kick to midfield to put the Orange in striking distance.

The Boilermakers then committed two more penalties — holding and pass interference — on third-and-10 plays to keep the winning drive alive before Shrader threw for the winning score."

As much as we hate to admit it…that’s good TV.
