No. The Memphis/SF game was played in the Chase Center which is I think less than a mile from their campus but not their regular venue.Does this impact our games outside of the Hump but still in MS?
We played Utah in SouthavenThe NCAA should make a rule that says if you play a game within X amount of miles from your campus, it still counts as a home game. Teams are rigging the system to get neutral site games for what really should be home games. We played Rutgers last year in an arena that was 30 miles from Rutgers’ campus but it counted as a neutral site win. But we also benefited from it this year by playing Utah at a “neutral site” in Tupelo.

Nah, the Chase Center is only 4 miles from the University of San Francisco campus. The Tupelo Coliseum is 63 miles away from Mississippi State and the Jackson Coliseum is 127 miles away from Mississippi State. Neither come close.Does this impact our games outside of the Hump but still in MS?
So when we played football games in Jackson it was considered a Neutral site? No. The Memphis/SF game was played in the Chase Center which is I think less than a mile from their campus but not their regular venue.
You’re right. Sorry. We played McNeese in Tupelo. We played Utah in Southaven
Then you were expecting this based on their track record?Probably the right move. But this should have been decided months ago. When you change the rules in the middle of the season, you really make yourself look like a Mickey Mouse operation.
We're not in the same conference with them anymoreOn deck: Bama football home games in Starkville.
