Anybody else read this? It's crazy.

• Proposal 11-2, which allows for football programs to hire a recruiting coordinator and support staff separate from the coaching staff, any of whom can partake in all recruiting activities save for off-campus visits.
<!--startclickprintexclude--><!--endclickprintexclude-->• Proposal 11-4, which eliminates restrictions on how many coaches can recruit off campus at a given time.
<!--startclickprintexclude--><!--endclickprintexclude-->• Proposal 13-3, which "eliminate restrictions on methods and modes of communication during recruiting," meaning no texting barriers, quiet periods or dead periods.
<!--startclickprintexclude--><!--endclickprintexclude-->• Proposal 13-4, which eliminates a list of required materials (a banned-drug list, APR data) schools must send to recruits.
<!--startclickprintexclude--><!--endclickprintexclude-->• Proposal 13-5A, which eliminates restrictions on sending printed materials (media guides, comic books, etc.) to recruits.

I really don't mind 13-3 because the dead periods are a joke anyway, but the rest of it seems pretty questionable. Maybe it's the NCAA just removing rules on stuff a lot of schools already do so people stop asking why they're not enforcing them.

I think there needs to dead periods for the holidays. Who wants coaches calling on Christmas because you know they will.
