Say good night IU - down 15 with a little over 3 minutes left is pretty bleak (still a tiny chance, but bleak)...

If you’re going to press why are you putting Trayce Jackson Davis on the inbounder

Hoping for some more social media wars between Indiana and it's fanbase. Always entertaining

It is time for the B1G to own up to post season performance. Try to identify why and try to implement some changes.

Or do we and the NCAA committee just know that the SOS of all B1G schools need to be adjusted down for the overrated paper look of the conference

Maybe our omission had a little to do with this concept

Big 10 schools go out and do pretty well every year OOC

I really think there is something to the !1G season wearing down these teams. It’s the only thing that makes sense since during the OOC season the league does well.

Let’s have an honest discussion about the B1G.
None of this is surprising.
The projected top of the conference (Indiana & Illinois) were very disappointing this season. That left Purdue alone at the top and the middle of the pack was basically 2-10 in the standings. Meanwhile the bottom, only had 1 team (Minny maybe OSU) that wasn’t competitive.
Yes, it’s great that the conference has a lot of teams that can compete and make a run for a tournament bid every year, but it’s not a good look when you keep struggling to get teams into the second weekend.
Conferences such as the Big 12 and SEC play better basketball. Even the top of the Big East was better than the top of the B1G this year.

As for this notion that the B1G schedule wearing the teams down, nonsense. The Big 12 plays just as difficult of a schedule. Indiana was just as pathetic early in the year against us as they were against Miami tonight. Zero resistance on D.

Hard to figure, since we certainly have been having subpar tourney performance, but do well OOC against P6 schools.

I'd actually like to see us play 2 less B1G games and replace them with 2 OOC games in the middle of the conference slate, so teams get a chance to play some other teams (hopefully quality opponents at that point) once most teams have settled into their rotations.

I also think the one thing that seems to be lacking, on average, with B1G teams compared to top OOC teams is speed. Look how important speed has been for many teams in the tourney.

Move the ball up and nail a quick 3.
This is what we sorely need.
Hopefully Gavin runs some of the offense next year and can utilize these quick situations.

I'm been trying to be open minded but.....
Watching college basketball is like watching paint dry.
It might just be the games I've been able to see (only a few while visiting in-laws).

I know I'm biased from watching mostly NBA but when do we get to the games with teams making shots?

People complain about NBA players being too skilled and it's boring. It watching missed wide open 3 after wide open 3 fun?

This is why I only watch Rutgers games.

Hope the Zags can close this out. Always liked Few's teams and am tired of hearing about how good the Big 12 was this year.

Could you imagine Timme's ball-handling and post moves in Cliff's body? Would be unstoppable.
