Big12? 7/10 made the dance. They have two teams left.Let’s have an honest discussion about the B1G.
None of this is surprising.
The projected top of the conference (Indiana & Illinois) were very disappointing this season. That left Purdue alone at the top and the middle of the pack was basically 2-10 in the standings. Meanwhile the bottom, only had 1 team (Minny maybe OSU) that wasn’t competitive.
Yes, it’s great that the conference has a lot of teams that can compete and make a run for a tournament bid every year, but it’s not a good look when you keep struggling to get teams into the second weekend.
Conferences such as the Big 12 and SEC play better basketball. Even the top of the Big East was better than the top of the B1G this year.
As for this notion that the B1G schedule wearing the teams down, nonsense. The Big 12 plays just as difficult of a schedule. Indiana was just as pathetic early in the year against us as they were against Miami tonight. Zero resistance on D.
I'm thinking that way too, if they can get by UCLA and if someone can beat Bama, although unfortunately, Bama's road to the FF looks pretty easy (2/3/4 all gone in their region and the East only has 3/4/7/9 left, meaning MSU has a pretty good shot at the FF) and I don't know if the Zags can beat Bama.I like the Zags to win it all
Your take is inaccurate. Jay Wright, who knows more about hoops than Seth or Parker, was not - he noted they simply haven't quite won the big one in awhile, but have had their chances in recent years. Parker thought the B1G was too focused on big men and not guards, but that doesn't mean she spoke for the whole panel.CBS panel ripping big ten and style of play at conclusion of round of 32
no lol is what it is they laid it out there dont sugar coat it with the G versionYour take is inaccurate. The origin of this story may be that, years ago, some Rutgers engineering students were complaining about the onerous work load in the engineering school, especially for freshmen, when some discovered that the FDU engineering program was much much easier with a fraction of the workload. It was then that , academically, FDU became known as Fairly Ridiculous.Do they still refer to Fairleigh Dickinson as Fairly Ridiculous?

One thing I have noticed, is when a MSU player makes mistakes and is pulled, Izzo reads them the riot act. When an RU player is not playing well and is pulled, we pat him on the back. Some we silently punish them by benching them for a long stretch. The biggest weakness of B1G TEN teams is the lack of players that can create and make shots off the dribble.Michigan State won because they had multiple players with that skillset. They also have the best head coach that makes game adjustments which result in wins.
Some coaches have different styles. What works for a hall of famer like Izzo is gonna be different than what pike can do and get away with .One thing I have noticed, is when a MSU player makes mistakes and is pulled, Izzo reads them the riot act. And Izzo has looked like a complete *** on more than a few occasions. Their first four game a couple years ago comes to mind. One thing I have noticed, is when a MSU player makes mistakes and is pulled, Izzo reads them the riot act. no, you made it sounds like they unanimously were ripping the B1G and that's absolutely not the case, as Jay didn't criticize the B1G at all; the others did.no lol is what it is they laid it out there dont sugar coat it with the G version
Liked Jamie Dixon better. Loved him at Pitt.Hope the Zags can close this out. Always liked Few's teams and am tired of hearing about how good the Big 12 was this year.
