Don't have that answer guru. I haven't seen anyone in the West except esurry, Reidsville and Monroe. They probably all belong. Although I think Shelby is coming out of the west

I'll let it slide...I'll give it to you, but that week 2 Maiden team that got gassed in the 4th quarter and blew a 2 score lead doesn't exist anymore. And our QB is now 9 games into our offense and not 1 game into our offense.

Box scores can tell a story. Watauga stole one away and they know it.

No doubt about it. It was hard watching half our defense struggle to get to the line of scrimmage those last couple of drives. But at the end of the day it still counts as a loss.

The pre-season poll is done by the coaches. Then NCPreps goes from there. It’s fun to do and gives people something to talk about.

I’ve done these polls since 2000 so I expect the good, the bad, and the ugly.

Unfortunately, I don't explore every single thread or post on here. You ask questions to learn, correct?

The only reason I'm asking is because it's obviously not based on RPI.

It’s my opinion on teams after the coaches give their input at the beginning. You guys post your thoughts and rankings etc.

No I’m not a numbers person with a formula or a rating system. With a “person” voting they can factor in injuries, weather, etc unlike a machine.

Have never said my polls were perfect or nothing. Just basically to get some talk going as well.

The AP used to do a poll and stopped in football and basketball, but me and my staff did it for several years and it’s a very time consuming thing to do when you have 10 to 15 people from all over the state voting.

Now, we have several and that’s good.

East Duplin is a great team and gets all the attention while Princeton is not mentioned much. They have beaten ED the past two seasons. Anyone they play must travel to Princeton and prepare for their running attack. They have over fifty straight games scoring in double digits. Last two seasons they have only lost to WRH and a 1 loss SSS 3A team. Just thought they could use some support on here, enjoy the games.

They do have fans who read these threads and one of my NcPreps friends from Princeton occasionally posts up here. I attended one of their games last year at Princeton and it was awesome. It was one of my best hsfb experiences ever, absolutely loved it.

Princeton has actually defeated ED three consecutive times. Margin of victory was 7, 6 and 1 point.

Surprised given the fact the Princeton defeated ED in week #2 they are not in this poll instead of ED but as pointed out, its a good discussion starter.

Also very western heavy which I can understand this year.

I have no problem with Princeton getting seeded higher than ED. They won the game. They should be. Hopefully get another matchup in the playoffs.

Well well well wrh not in the top 10 u can’t be on top forever so that just tells me we have more work to not to convince anyone but for the players to prove they belong or if they are as elite as we the fans say nothing is a gimme u have to earn respect n because to we lost to ED the pollsters throw wrh out the top ten I tell my AAU Basketball team it’s not where u start it’s where u finish and for the last 3 years we started in third place but always win the ship a 3peat if u will all credit go to the players not me, last year we gave up the crown 3rd place out of 32!teams over two weekends , so I said all that to say this if the players want it they will put in the work to get the job done!! Go Dogs We With You Guys All The Way!! #TheseDogsWillBITE!!
