Woo Hoo. Top 10. Very generous ranking. Let’s see where we stand after playing 2A #4 Burns and #2 Shelby. Tough 2 week stretch. Win, lose or draw, Chargers should come out of these 2 games with an absolute understanding of where they stand and big game experience.

Ya'll had our number back in the 80's but times have changed, and we're ready when you are...on a serious note, I'd love to play Statesville and several other schools but I have no power over that at all. Trust me, there is a lot of schools I'd like Crest to play.

Wow guys too much praise there, Scotland has athletes every year and is always a threat...
at Pinecrest, Lee County, at Richmond,,,,,,,,,back to back to back to end the year
then hopefully the playoffs limping in...

I'm right there with you. I've heard about the games in the 80s. Heard those games were legendary. Statesville vs. Crest week 1. Got to make it happen soon. Statesville needs games like this to be better prepared for the playoffs

Don't sleep on the Northwest Cabarrus Trojans, solid group of young men out there and I wouldn't be surprised if they make an appearance in the Top 10 before the regular season is over and done with. Big rivalry game this week against Cox Mill(4A). I won't say much but just remember you heard it here first.

How did they fare against East Lincoln in that scrimmage they had ????

That was a rough outing for them, 14-0. The defense is a few steps ahead of the offense right now but they've seen much improvement since that scrimmage as it provided some solid experience for them going into the season. I'm close to the program so I can tell you first hand that this is a special group, they'll improve week by week and they have all the they need to make a run come playoff time.
