Traveling across the country on a 2 game losing streak without your starting QB and top player on the team and OL out and getting the win, very nice job if one didn't watch the game and defense sucking. But on paper, nice job.

But award is absolute meaningless and is stupid in my opinion for any week and any conference. Players win the games and are stars of the week, not coaches.

Yes it's odd because he's clearly one of the worst coaches in the Big 12 and everyone knows it. Beating a terrible team is nothing to brag about after your team folded in all of the most meaningful games of the whole season.
