Miles was pleading his case because the refs won't call a foul when Nebraska takes it inside. Miles wasn't out of control.

Well we don't really but with Maryland extending their zone with their big guys we've been able to penetrate and get buckets in the paint. So far so good. That was a HUGE non-rebound by McVeigh. Potentially a 5 pt turn. Dang it.
It doesn't matter. You use that line when Maryland is up by 10 or so. Not when Nebraska is winning by 3.
need some of these 3s to go in. Man. Shields makes one of those and its a 1 pt game.

I understand you're not supposed to penalize players for being bigger but Nebraska is getting mauled everytime we go into the paint and there are no calls. We bump up against one of their 8 7 footers we get called. I don't get it.
We HAVE to take every open 3 we get. Period. Its basically our only chance to beat these guys now that they've pulled out of that extended zone.
Unfortunately you are right. The chances of them missing from the paint or not going to the line isn't very good now

Hard to watch. Looked like White thought there was 1.1 left on the shot clock, rather than 11. Yowza. I know he's a good perimeter shooter, but that's not a 'good look'. Dang. Good effort against #4. Need a big, still!!
