Having fooled with those in years past and used things like Kodi, etc for "free streaming" I've found it is better to just pay for what I want and cancel and renew as needed. I have a Firestick, Roku and the ONN Google TV box (favorite). The hassle of the side loaded apps and illegal "free" services isn't worth it to me.

I haven't messed w/ them lately either but my experience was that the channels were a lot of times "here today gone tomorrow" Some of the forums I read said as the semi shady/illegal ones were rooted out, they were removed and eventually replaced elsewhere until they got discovered as shady again later. Go read the Amazon reviews on some of them and notice that almost every one of them says something negative i.e. your own mouse works better than a keyboard, it gets hot sometime so I have a fan blowing on it, Netflix doesn't work, works great but is sluggish, etc etc. Even a lot of the solid reviews say something negative. Overall it wasn't bad but even at $35ish it wasn't worth it either for me.
