Ever heard of a team backing out of a championship game....even if it is JV football? Culpeper is claiming they have too many injuries to play Eastern View on Monday for the Evergreen JV championship. I wonder if the players are happy about that on Culpeper's team. Even if it is JV, you think they would play it anyway unless they don't even have 15 players.

Unfortunately all of the concussion hoopla/hysteria the last few years has turned a lot of parents off on the game of football. Our AD struggled mightily this year to get enough JV and freshman games for our kids. JV teams just can't be put together or maintained by a lot of schools anymore when Varsity teams sustain too many injuries.

My .02 anyway....

I know they moved several players up to varsity but I would still play in the championship *** whipping or not
I know a lot of JV players were moved up to varsity probably depleting the JV team with the others being injuries

I don't know the circumstances but I can see those in which I would have bailed to protect my kids.
