I assume we pay for all of these variations? For an athletic department that is always claiming poverty we sure have a lot of nickels and dimes for new uniform configurations.

I think people have mentioned in the past that most of this is paid for by Nike. I could be wrong,though.

I think the new helmet looks stupid. But I don't really care. Other than wanting the uniforms to be functional, which includes having readable jersey numbers, I really couldn't care less what the uniforms look like. I don't understand the depth of emotional attachment some posters appear to have to their opinions about the uniforms. It's like item #13,237 on my list of things to care about.
