I agree. Im hoping he demanded that Kraft be replaced as a condition of taking the job.
He’s a knucklehead. He insinuated I was racist in a game day thread because I said DeLuca didn’t belong on the field. Nevermind the fact that DeLuca’s replacement is also white.

I’m not - I repeat - NOT apologizing for Kraft here, but it’s clear he wanted an actual football coach in this search and not the CEO type. A truly great X and Os coach that didn’t win the off season and **** the bed against real competition. You have to give him some credit for that.
I will be interested in seeing who he chooses or is able to retain from the roster. Whoever leaked the conversation with Kraft should be first to be shown the nearest door. Putting Krafts incompetence aside, you dont leak stuff like that. Period.

Mount Union is a D3 dynasty. This guy knows what it takes to build/keep a program at the top. Hopefully he can convince current players and recruits this so the transition isn't that bad.

Agreed. IMO, the right hire fell into his lap. Although likely more expensive, I believe Campbell is better than the BYU guy and Chesney.
I do remember Josh Pate saying the day after James was fired that Penn St should target and hire Matt Campbell. I know that everyone on here hates everyone in the media, but I at least listen to what he says.
If we’d have hired Campbell the day after Franklin was fired. I’d have been ecstatic.
