It is no secret that there is a divide between the generations at multiple levels. Even Lavar Arrington admitted to it this week.  There are people that think that Joe got a raw deal, and there is more than likely a sizable group that believes Franklin got a raw deal. I am certain the players from the last 12 years believe Franklin got a raw deal, and Franklin‘s tenure marks an entire generation of Penn State football with some truly generational talents like Carter, Warren, Barkley, etc.  There is a lot of work to be done moving forward by whoever takes on the leadership of the program. First off, a number of the older generation need to be reengaged. Rhule could do that.
