there was post after post of how redneck and ridiculous it was to market on billboards last year with the "This Is Our State" campaign.
Please find one post here where I said your billboards are ridiculous or redneck. Why is it that when discussing anything OM, you and your posters ask certain posters to speak for what other ignorant OM posters have said at some point?
I've always thought your billboards were pretty good marketing. I've been bashed on the spirit for suggesting this. Yet you bring up what other OM people said in response to my post. I can't speak for our idiots any more than you can speak for yours.
The only billboard I find slightly questionable is the one in Oxford that is targeted at Liggins. If he signs with you, its brilliant. If he doesn't sign with you, its money wasted, other than the ribbing factor.
But I'll make my point again...Are you suggesting that OM hasn't utilized billboards for sports marketing before you did recently?
Do you really think that every billboard we use to market sports from here forward is a response to your billboards?
The Road to the "Super Bowl goes through OM" billboard looks like a response. The one above looks like good marketing. I guess it could be said that since it is a spin off of the "Road to the Super Bowl" billboard then it is a response, but why wouldn't we market the fact that we have an impact player on each remaining playoff team.
