High school commitments are a little like leeches that you get if you are walking through a Swamp; it's best not to get attached.

I would also add, you can expect entire classes of commitments to look at themselves as 100% open with the House Settlement if what Jay Bilas' theory that multiyear locked in deals and buyouts are the new reality. That would signal almost a recommitment to high school recruiting and up the price tag of those recruits as a result.
