I suppose that Mullen has good reason to cheer on the 49ers with Alex Smith and Boobie on their roster. I was just thinking the other day that the longer the 49ers and Broncos stayed in the playoffs, the better for Mullen (and us) to show his ability toget qb's ready for the NFL.He can pointto those 2 NFL teams whose starting qb's were coached by him at Utah and Florida respectively. I will be pulling for the 49ers to win the Super Bowl. Harbaugh is a hell of a coach too. The qb bootleg call yesterday was freaking awesome and it showed balls of steel.

It's actually a great article. I love the New York Times style of giving not only the story, but the story behind the story. Jeremiah, you might want to check this out, if you have a spare minute.
