think we are going to whip Auburn's ***. If we lose, so be it but we haven't had weeks like this very often in the past 10 years with this amount of optimism.

I am not so sure this is necessarily the case at one very important coaching position.

alot more than they bargained for. Unlike Arky State, we got people that will knock Newton's *** off.

I think we win by 10

I watched the AU - Ark. St. replay.

Newton is like Russel and Relf rolled into one.

Bastard is pretty good.

Gonna be a test, but a fun test.

[*]On if he’s even played in a deafening stadium before: “I think we had a couple games like that at Blinn. Just teasing.”

[*]“I had a lot of maturity things I had to step up on. I was too young and naive. I look back and I’m somewhat embarrassed.”

[*]On telling Mullen that he was going to Auburn: “It’s probably one of the hardest decisions I’ve made in my recent life. Telling his wife was even harder. Telling Miss Meagan? This decision wasn’t just my decision. I had to clear it with the whole 9 yards. My family, the people close to me. We just felt like it was best that my career be played in Auburn.”

Relf and Russell rolled into one but that is against Arky State. Russell looked like the number one passer in the nation, but that was against Memphis.

it was common knowledge that he was THE No. 1 recruit on our staff's recruiting board last year. If you take Cam off the Auburn team and put him on our team I think we win the game Thursday with some margin to spare. I really believe right now this game is a true toss-up. I do think we will probably have to score over 30 points to win.

his recruitment he's pretty much said, if you read between the lines, that he wanted to come to MSU and play for Coach Mullen but his family pushed him to go to Auburn because they didn't think MSU was big-time enough for them.

from the Saints in the NFC championship. I expect Diaz to hit him every play. Running that spread option makeshim a legal tackling dummy on every play and I expect Pern and His Merry Men to initiate some pain and payback for ringing that bell last Egg Bowl...

Only if we make a 10x improvement in tackling in a matter of days. Memphis ran WAY too easy on us. The holes they ran through can be assigned to the vanilla defense. But I thought our tackling was not good at all. Way too often we gave up 3-4 yards after contact.

I hope we have a scheme that allows Carmon to flat pancake that bastard and lay on him for a while.

That all depends on how much they allow Auburn's RT to tackle Pernell.
