Definitely look better. Get used to them. This is what all helmets will look like in a few years.

It would be interesting to see what it looks like when everyone wears them. As it stands now, when a player wears them in the NFL he sticks out like sore thumb.
Maybe with better helmets they can get back to the knocking the hell out of someone.
You want to take most concussions out of football? Take the face mask off.
If they want to make it better, incorporate the technology inside of the helmet instead of on the outside. But wait, I guess that would put the guardian cap folks out of business. What a bummer that would be.
If they really wanted to protect players they would get rid of artificial surfaces and go back to grass.

I actually don't notice them until they do a close up replay... even then... some teams' helmets work better than others.
NOOOOOOOO!!!! One of the worst things to happen to the game of football is the matte helmet finish. I've not seen a single one that looks better than a gloss finish.
