I was afraid that the new on3 iowa board would never live up to the cesspool of old. My fears have been diminished...this is awesome. 
For what it's worth, I just booked an 18 hour Uber ride to the Bluebird....hey, any port in a storm.
These are young men we are talking about, I wouldn't go that scorched earth. it rests with development and the lack of it. These kids are good enough to do really well if strides are made. Absent that, it will be a very challenging season next year.

Ain't that the truth. A lot of guys in Iowa's 22 class shouldn't have had any illusions they would be anything more than a room guy or a backup yet they all left except Jayce Rhodes. On the other hand several guys on Penn State had every right to expect to be four year starters and title contenders and aren't sniffing the lineup and yet stay. Make sense of it.

That about seals the coffin. Sounds like someone could be fabricating just like VHS was fabricating about wrestling at Iowa.
Guys like Facundo and Sealey have international freestyle goals that are higher than NCAA goals. PSU's RTC gives them access to world class freestyle talent to train with even if they can't make the varsity lineup, so if they are staying without a starting spot, they clearly think the program is helping them progress towards those goals. Facundo obviously followed DT to Penn State, Cowboy Campus, and I do feel like someone like Sealey is going to want to shoot his shot at least once, and there is no path ever (barring injury) for him to be a starter with Duke, James, and Henckel there, so it's likely he will go somewhere, although it may not be until he's a grad transfer with one year left.
I don't blame the kids at all. To me the kids are like privates in the army...they'll do as much or as little as you make/allow them to do. Development is critical. To me this is all about the program...I hate it for TnT because I'm a big fan of both but we currently have a program very much on the decline and that's why we want change.
