there's 4,500 in the "class" and the settlement is for $675,000,000. Does that mean each individual gets $150,000 before lawyer fees are taken out? That is hardly enough for those with or had serious problems like Junior Seau. Hope I'm wrong but if I'm not the ONLY people getting significant money are the lawyers. That's 17ed up.

Somehow I think your math is wrong.

But to get past that, I'd think they have some kind of scale to determine payout for individual cases. I haven't read much about it because I've been at work but I know like $100 mil was taken out to establish new initiatives and things while the sum you're referring to is for former players. That could mean anything. It could be one big trust for those guys to use for medical expenses and what not with like a monthly stipend for each player.

Glad it's finally over with and we can move forward with football. ~$750 mil is like a 10th of the NFL's annual revenue. How crazy is that?

They are going to put it in a fund to handle medical issues so they will probably not payout but instead use interest to help cover players
