This thread reminds me why NFL fans beat the crap out of each other in the parking lot seemingly every week.

Walk-off winner! I mean, the damage is already done, they've won too many games to snag an elite offensive lineman in the draft, might as well keep beating the bad teams on the schedule. Walk-off!

Good win for the Steelers, they played a very good game but the Bengals still control the division. They are in first place with 3 to play. The next three games are tough games but the Bengals control their own destiny. Going into Pittsburgh with the division on the line could be what decides the division. Going to be an interesting finish.

How do you lose a game that was very competitive for 48 minutes, by 3 TDs? That's a blowout!!!!
The game turned at the read option fumble. Jackson lost the game with the ridiculous playcalling. Of course, ncaa would have you believe they accomplished something. A team that gives up 30 ppg and is going absolutely nowhere foe the next 5 years. That's what is frustrating. Aj green had 200 yards on like 6 targets. That secondary is a joke and ncaa gets bragging rights for 2 weeks because our staff called a middle school game.

The Steelers had 543 total yards, but yeah...your OC lost it for you

We should have had 700 yards. Dalton was 21/29 for 302 and green had 225 yards on 11 receptions yet Jackson still wanted to call his trick plays. Rop was 25/39. Pretty pedestrian.

Nice to know that you still don't understand football. Typical bandwagon towel sucker.

Bengals looked lost on defense, which is the case 75% of the time when Burfict is on the sideline.

But they still control the division. Need to win 2 of the last 3.

Since when is 25-39 for 350 and 3 TDs "pedestrian"? You Bengal fans sure don't know how to evaluate QBs, no wonder you signed Dalton to a $115 million extension.

I'm just antagonizing because it's too easy at this point. Cinci is like a lil brother to Pitt and the fans are just ate up. No doubt there were 10+ fights after that game!

Meanwhile my Lions are just chugging along in unusual fashion, still scared to buy in with so many scenarios of how we get screwed or screw ourselves from the playoffs.

And the fact that anyone comes from the NFC South is just a sad day. That playoff game will be awful! So bad I wish Carolina goes on a run so Cam provides some interest.

When his counterpart is 21/29 for 302 in 3 quarters and his idiotic OC is calling read options it is extremely pedestrian.

And yes, the fans are the ones signing the contracts. Way to prove your point...

Wait...what? Ben's numbers are pedestrian because your OC is an idiot? That makes no GD sense whatsoever. You could write a novel about the amount of retarded **** Bengals fans have said on this board.

I reluctantly got up at the asscrack this morning and drove to Nashville to watch my Titans get skunked by the mighty New York Football Giants' 29th ranked Defense at home. Along with about 3,000 other diehards (or dumbasses, either way) and about 6,000 NYG fans, I watched the most pathetic display of professional football I've ever seen in my life. I've never seen a mass surrender like I did today, literally just going through the motions to get off the field it seemed. Listening to the post game show, I think the Nashville sports media machine may run Whisenhunt out of town, the Adams family be damned. Even some former players are saying this experiment is near the point of no return 12 games into his tenure. There is no doubt they will lose out. I'd be shocked if they kept any game within 2 scores the rest of the season.

You mean they put the 49er loss to Oakland on the Jumbotron? I've been saying SF is garbage all year (mostly because of Kaepernick). Thank god I don't have to watch another second of this season.

I don't get Bengals fans. One of the worst franchises in the NFL, they're in contention in their division heading into Week 15, and they're still pissed off. You're not the Patriots. This is a GREAT season for you. Lighten up.

I think many of them would rather see the Steelers lose than "their" team win.

We were also there. Left near the end of the third quarter. This organization is in shambles right now, definitely the lowest I can ever remember seeing the organization (in Tennesee). It's obvious that all the players have mentally checked out and are beat down. Maybe it's just me, but it seems the players aren't on the Whisenhunt train right now. Especially evident after Nate Washingtons post game comments. Outside of maybe 5-7 players , everyone on this team could stand to be replaced. They'll probably lose out and get number one pick, but there's so many holes on this team I can't even begin to speculate what they'll do with it.

They are in first place with 3 to play. That's in control to me. Obviously it isn't going to be easy but they aren't dead like many want to think. I think it's going to come down to a winner take all game in Pittsburgh week 17.

It's your dream bro. Dream on. Doesn't bother me or interest me that much anymore. Lewis has been owned in every game this year against a good opponent. NE, IND, CLE, and PITT. All blowouts. I really doubt they win another game.

If AJ is smart, and I believe he is, he will sign with an organization that knows how to win. Lewis is a lesser version of Tubby Smith. Except Tubby did win a title and some big time games. Lewis has never done that and never will.

Steelers/Bengals. After the 3 crap losses (TB, NYJ, NO), I had pretty much written off the season. Now the Steelers win, and give hope. Sort of like last season, where about 20 things had to happen over the last few weeks, and 19 of them did until somebody screwed up a FG. So, I guess we will see how it plays out. Pittsburgh isn't winning at Denver, at Indy, or at NE in the playoffs anyway. 3 QBs that will end the secondary alive.

Had Cincy won, the division was all but a lock I think. Now, they possibly could miss playoffs? That's insane really.

I have no idea why the Bengals didn't throw deep to Green every other play in the second half. The Steelers absolutely had zero shot of covering him. He made the secondary look silly.

I know most fans don't think it, but anyone putting Dalton in the same category of Big Ben....please. C'mon.

I told Blue63Madison early in the week that the two Cincy/Pitt games could be absolute blowouts, 1 for each team. I still wouldn't be surprised if the Bengals win in Pittsburgh by two TDs. Both of these teams are absolutely bipolar.

Yep, no AFC North team is doing anything in the playoffs. It would be nice for bragging rights, and you never know, I guess a team could get lucky/hot.

Based upon the schedules, I think Baltimore is most likely to make the playoffs, then Pittsburgh. But, like said above, nothing would surprise me in that division.

The Steelers just don't have the defense to advance far in the playoffs. Secondary, LB and DL are all below average and secondary is one of the worst in the league. I've never seen two bipolar teams like the Bengals and Steelers.

They did sweep Baltimore, they deserve some credit for that. However, I do agree with you about Lewis. There's no argument to be made for defending him. 13 years (or something near that) in Cincinnati and he hasn't won a playoff game. He's terrible. I expect them to beat Cleveland next week. They'll lose to Denver. I can see the week 17 game against Pittsburgh as a game that could go either way. Let's not act like Pittsburgh drubbed Cincinnati from the start, Bengals were up with about 12:00 left in the 4th and then Pittsburgh turned it on and Cincinnati folded. I can see that one as a game Cincinnati wins similar to the one 2 years ago. However, I can also see it as the Sunday Night debacle that was last year. Going to interesting.

Honestly, I have quit wasting time on the Bengals. Until they get rid of Lewis and Dalton, I have no interest in following them. Lewis deserves credit for what he has done, which is make the Bengals a respectable team/franchise. However, he does not have the ability to get them any further. He's had 11-12 years. Never gonna happen with him in charge. Until they get rid of him. They are as far as they will go.

Dalton is just a serviceable QB. Weak arm and no clutch ability or leadership. Cincy has done everything they can to hide him and it doesn't work. The stupidity of his contract did me in.

I don't even care one way or the other about them anymore. I truly don't. I tried for over 40 years. I just don't have it in me anymore. If serious changes were to happen at HC and QB there would be hope maybe. Neither of those will happen.

Well, at least all the losses are blowouts. Will stop the "We got screwed! or ONE PLAY AWAY?" excuses that could happen.

Toughest schedule in the NFL down the stretch. Nothing will surprise me anymore. But I do think Burfict is done for the year.

Biggest disappointment is the D-Line. 15 sacks this year after 48 last year.

Are you mocking yourself here?

But yeah, if any AFC North team is going to do real damage in the playoffs, it's Baltimore. They're the best coached, toughest team in the division, and they've proven they can go on the road and play their A game in the playoffs. Forsett has quietly been a Pro Bowl level RB this year and for some godforsaken reason Joe Flacco is unfazed in the playoffs.

- It's looking more and more like New England is going to win out, clinch home field, and probably pencil themselves into the Super Bowl. Hope I'm wrong, but I can't see any team going into Foxboro and winning. If Green Bay wins at Buffalo on Sunday, I think they'll go ahead and run the table and clinch NFC home field. Detroit ain't winning at Lambeau with the division title and a bye at stake the last game of the season.

- Has the top seed ever missed the playoffs heading into Week 15? I wouldn't be surprised to see Arizona lose out and complete one of the worst collapses of all time. They have a brutal schedule down the stretch. Their only home game is against Seattle.

- Manziel vs. the Bengals on Sunday. Hope I can watch this one. Guess it would be fitting if a rookie making his first start puts one of the first nails into the Bengals' coffin. I think the more likely scenario is him running around like an idiot, getting the wood laid to him, and getting concussed. I predict that'll happen before the season is over.

I can assure with with much certainty that they screw up the pick whether it's #1 or #2. This organization might as well give up their 1st round pick every year because they never get anything from it that is worth a damn. CJ was the last 1st rd pick that made any impact. Mariota would be a colossal mistake, He would be running for his life behind this abomination of an O line and would probably be on the IR by week 3. But we certainly need to address defense, and it doesn't matter where. DE, CB, SS, it doesn't matter. We're ok at LB, but both lines are sewer sludge. We've got so many holes, minus a miraculous overhaul of talent we are easily 2-3 years from being even remotely competitive.

What an ending of the half of the Giants/Washington game...Garcon and Jackson ejected.

Correction...only Jackson was ejected. Giants kicked the ball off to start the second half at the Redskins 35 yard line. Giants successfully kicked an on-side kick that led to a field goal. RGIII is playing well.

I was nervous today. Over the last few years the Bengals have made a bad habit of allowing rookie/inexperienced QBs to look spectacular. Especially after Marvin Lewis' "midget" comment.

WTF happened to the Packers today? Ruined a nice parlay for me
