Pretty interesting that he was at SHU when they basically started running circles around the RU law schools. Whether Willard will do anything there or not, he did clean up their AD which was a total mess.

I am suspicious of anything our governor has a hand in but this being NJ and the incessant legal issues created by Pernetti and his hires, Hobbs makes sense.

Really good article. In it, Barchi says he wanted to recruit a new coach "very fast". Hopefully that means Monday or Tuesday.

Great article. Rutgers isn't a plug and play AD role. NJ is a political cesspool. You need someone in it to be successful. It is a good sign that Hobbs is a Demo but has a relationship with Christie.

Outstanding read. I think you would have a very hard time finding someone who has something bad to say about Pat Hobbs. He is 100% class, smart and energetic. He made tax law interesting and fun. And he did a fabulous job as Dean of Seton Hall Law School.
