Right now, it's basically Jarvis Claus and his elves. We have a center and four guards. Bost is the point and the other three just play. I think that suits Turner. He has some talent, but honestly, he's doing it more on hustle and determination than skill. His shot has improved greatly, which leads me to believe he's worked hard in the off season as well.
Basically, last year's team was very set with positions. Jamont at 1, Ben at 2, Randy at the 3, and Charles and Jarvis in the post. So really, Turner was stuck in a slow down offense at the two or three when Ben or Barry came out. He just didn't seem comfortable standing around looking for a passing lane down low. The style of play that Stans has put out there this year has really benefited Turner in that once Bost gets the offense moving, he and the other two guards can really roam around and basically just hustle and play. In other words, just putting him on the floor and letting him go is how you get the best out of a guy like him. He's sort of like Slater without the spin-a-roonie.
