Maybe so, but I thought it was poorly phrased by Mitch. I read it the same way as Key Sr. Not the start needed...Good Lord. KJ Sr needs a chill pill.
It was a compliment. The only way it isn't, is if you are looking for reasons to be offended.Maybe so, but I thought it was poorly phrased by Mitch. I read it the same way as Key Sr. Not the start needed...
How about someone post wtf we are talking about??????????I cringed when I first read it, before there was any reaction. I am sure that he meant it to be a compliment and I am guessing Keyshawn does too really. But elite athletes think only of success and it's predictable they would bristle at any hint of crappie performance.
Agreed HBK, really nothing to get worked up about. KJS must have been having a bad day.Wow, Really? Exactly why I don't do twitter. Lame on both ends.![]()
Former OWH writer, now ESPN writer.Who the hell is mitch sherman?
Keyshawn Sr. is like an older Kenny Bell. I sure hope Jr. catches a lot of passes or we'll probably hear a lot of complaining from his old man.
I laughedYou would have to be Red Rover to be offended by this
Yep just like an older Bell. Except for being part of a conference championship team, consensus All-American, number one draft pick, 3 time pro bowler, super bowl champion and lasting 10 years in the league.
Did he overreact? Yep, but when you have the resume Keyshawn does, you get some leeway on "complaining".
Key Sr on Twitter.... C'mon man!!! WTF. Sick
See? Perfect response. Relax, pops, He's got this.I meant he's like KB in that he's a drama queen with an enormous ego. Of course he was a better player. But his son isn't (yet). He's only a junior in high school, who will face a lot of competition when he sets foot on campus in 2017. He may even end up being the 3rd best WR in this recruiting class. Sr needs to chill until his son actually accomplishes something at this level, instead of talking smack on Twitter.
Fortunately, it seems like Jr. has his head on straight. He actually tweeted this 10 hours before his dad posted his tweet:
Or Kenny is a younger poor mans version of KJ SrKeyshawn Sr. is like an older Kenny Bell. I sure hope Jr. catches a lot of passes or we'll probably hear a lot of complaining from his old man.
Are you serious? You're kidding right? SickThis is exactly what I was afraid of. You bring in a kid like that, and the potential for an enormous amount of drama exists from day 1, and the kid hasn't even signed his LOI yet.
I know a lot of you guys were excited about his commit and all that, but to me, it was nothing more than potential headache after headache.
To make matters worse, you aren't dealing with just one character, but now two of them (his father). Mark my words, this is not the kind of attention we need here. The door swings both ways attention and publicity wise, and I'd be happy if he quietly just went somewhere else.

Coming from someone mad the last staff got their comeuppance..... this is truly funny.

I agree with Timnsun here - If a little drama comes with these types of players it just goes with the territory - Riley has the right demeanor to handle it anyhowAre you serious? You're kidding right? Sick
Looks like you've been waiting for the first hint of something negative to drop this turd here. You really wish he would go elsewhere? I bet you felt the same way when crouch had his diva moment as well...
you could get 100 terms that are improper in websters that are considered great compliments in modern diction in less than 5 minutes if you asked people.
the "2nd strike" was not an assumption that he wouldn't or even remotely worded that way
your "3rd strike" was predicated on your first two statements.
this is a nothing on any level and speaking as someone with an english degree (in technical writing at that), i can hereby certify that you're full of it (lol... yes, i really do have one)
