I completely understand, that's why I asked "who would we start OVER him?" He had a good outing, but if I were Cohen or Thompson, I'd still want to give him one more outing to earn his "SEC Starting Stripes." I want him to start because he can be a beast. I don't think starting Ross is the best idea because he's done his best pitching in relief. Same with Pollo, and certainly Holder or Bracewell (those guys need to close and only close. starting them would be disastrous).
Do you perhaps buy yourself a game with Evan one more time to give Woody a chance to get one more game under his belt (OM, maybe?) and hope Evan has a solid outing (which he's had this year), or do you start Woody, who's had rough starts up until tonight? To be honest, the basic question I'd be asking myself is who has the least likely chance of blowing a start? Both of them have... but Woody would be a fresh look to our rotation and the payoff could be huge. It's a tough decision, to be honest.
