I look forward to seeing them play again next year.
Bumphis has been fairly disappointing. Need more big receivers and fewer smurfs. In crunch time USC threw the ball to 6 foot 4 inch tall Jeffries. We throw the ball to 5-10 Bumphis twice in the end zone on key downs and got zilch. There is just no substitute for being a big target. I hope Morrow is a good one for us next year. Other than adequate offensive linemen, big receivers are what we are missing. Of course, until we find decent linemen, we will struggle. I have faith though that good times are ahead for State. I see no reason why our team cannot eventually reach the upper half of even an expanded 14 team SEC. Just have to suck it up and support our program. Even when USC fields a poor team, they pack their stadium. State fans must do the same. We all have to keep grindin'

The guy brings the wood, and does it legally despite what the refs at Auburn say. Banks is putting up All-American numbers and I am surprised that he is still way down the list on Low's revised top 25 players in the SEC. He is tied for first in the nation in Pass Break-Ups with 13 and is currently tied for second in the nation with 5 Interceptions this season. Probably one of the most underrated players in the nation, SEC, and even on our team.

I'm no homer, but there is no valid reason either of them isn't getting more respect.

Banks' ball skills are as good as anyone in college football, and with the exception of Vontaze Burflict, I have yet to see a badder man in college football this year than Nickoe Whitley. The athletic department needs to do a better job of promoting them. Someone really needs to make a highlight film of Whitley's interceptions/huge hits. I have watched a ton of football the last two years, and I have yet to see someone stick Lattimore in the open field the way Whitley did. There are very, very few DBs who could have made that hit.

Lattimore was getting up a head of steam, had made it through the line, and he just stopped when Whitley hit him, cold *** stopped. Thing of beauty.

Both those teams have 20 guys better than Whitley on defense. Hell LSU's Matheiu is a 5'9 180lb player that is 10x the defender Whitley is. I do think Banks is NFL bound.

Morris Claiborne is far and away a better cover guy than the Honey Badger, and he is a lock to be 1st round pick. I'm not saying Whitley is the best safety in the league in pass coverage, but I haven't seen a safety at LSU or Bama consistently lay the wood like Whitley.

Banks isn't the best corner in the nation or anything, but he is pretty damn good. The stats given above bear testament to that.

Barron lays wood like Whitley when he wants to, he can cover really well too and is great tackler. Lester is the same.
