So?

Do we expect them to sulk and mope for hours or days like fans do? Maybe he'll get on Catpaw and blame his teammates and coaches.

Monk's laughing on the bench. Kick him off the team!!
James Young smiled after a loss. Exile him to Siberia!!

Hey jagoffs, I'm just relaying what a caller said. Actually I thought it was pretty funny.

Still a cats fan till the end, and i still will never count cal out of a late run but this season has Been quite a disappointment. Just to young. To young withOUT an elite player or 2. Throw Bamba or Ayton along with young on this team and we’ve lost 2 total probably.

**** happens. I’m DEFINITELY not ready to fire Cal yet. Anyone who honestly thinks that is the best thing to do right now is out of their damn minds.

It's certainly not time to fire Cal. But it is time to think about the future.

what’s he supposed to do? go back to the dorm and cry? he’s a teenager lol

Not at all. But (if this is true and I see no reason to doubt it) he should be pissed off. Nothing funny about the issues this team has and his piss poor play. It’s a game, I get that. He’s a teenager and I get that too. But basketball at UK is a pretty important spotlight and he knows that. If MKG (just to name one) were on this team and Knox was yucking it up after a game like this he’d be wearin’ the pizza on his face when he picked himself up off of the sidewalk. I think MKG ‘got’ UK basketball.

Don’t think we’ve had a player with an MKG type mentality since then.

Agree.

Nobody takes into consideration how hard it is to replace 90+ percent of scoring and 80+ percent of rebounding from the prior year. The only other time we tried it was in 2013. I hope these kids get it, but at this point I just wanna make the damn tournament, which could be in jeopardy if this thing goes much further south. (Glad the rest of the country sucks, too) Preseason rankings were way too high because the stupid sports media either tries to set us up for disappointment or buys into recruiting rankings over proven results.

Cal's my guy. I couldn't think of anyone I'd want to replace him right now. Absolute best case is these guys pull it together and make a run, but I'd settle for a ho hum 2018 with several returnees for 2019. However, if we go to the NIT or lose on the first day of the dance AND most of the team bolts, Cal will officially feel a little heat going into next season.

Walking up the street, eating pizza laughing it up like it was nothing.

I highly doubt this is true at all .I call BS on this one. In case you don't know, the players are fed before they leave Rupp or they take it to the dorm with them. Where the locker rooms are located, there is a place where they are fed. Then, they come straight out of Rupp into a waiting bus that shuttles them straight back to their dorm. No stops allowed, no fans are allowed back there (just family of players), and the van is literally steps from the Rupp backdoor. They definitely aren't walking down any street. Just straight to the bus and to the dorm. So, I'm calling ******** on this. Just some guy trying to stir the pot and making stuff up.

Big time athlete eh? Where did you play?

Big time? Oh, no, generally t-ball players learn not to cry after a game. By the time you get to Knox's level, you expect they've grown up and know when its over its over.

Never played T-ball? I understand.

BTW, an athlete who is obsessed with getting better and winning, doesn't go out after that kind of performance and enjoy themselves to pizza and a good time; and any real athlete who hates losing knows it. Knox has essentially sucked all year, and I don't know if it's true and don't really care, but Knox looks like he's checked out. He refuses to play tough, looks to avoid any real contact, and is the laziest player of the Cal era.

He wants to go pro and that's it. That's why he's here, it makes sense.

So, maybe he was hungry, maybe he was upset and getting his mind off things, or maybe it didn't happen at all.

Or maybe it's more of the same attitude that we can all visualize if we try just a little bit.

Spelt been "ben" to begin with. Used the wrong version of "too" a couple times. Captilized "out" in without. Then started using the number 2 instead of spelling. Looked drunk to me guess just stupid

This reminds me of that movie Fever Pitch

Where they are in the restaurant and the Red Sox players coming in and they are all laughing it up and the die hard Sox fans are going nuts about it lol

He's a kid. This is just a game.
