Well then you should find Knox’s behavior perfectly normal and healthy.

We don't even know if it's true or not.

Nothing wrong with clearing your head and winding down. It can help, but Knox isn't one of those guys who hates losing. It's clear.

And save the "did you play" speech. I played the same division as Knox in a different sport. I had a chance to be drafted, just went another route. An athlete can see the difference in guys who care and guys who don't. It does appear Knox is less than concerned with L's.

I know absolutely nothing about the MLB. But I'd guess the guys getting drafted that late are making few dollars or cut very soon. Hell the MLB players in free agency are frozen out today lol

Man it's just about having a shot to be seen. If you can get to AA ball, you can make it with a few good seasons. It's exciting. My first cousin played for the Oakland A's, I've got a few friends who were close.

What do you think the percentage is of humans walking the earth who were drafted into baseball?

Actually, the guy said he had driven up from Knoxville and just so happened to see Knox laughing and cutting up. He was just saying "it rubbed in the wrong way", because he felt so bad that UK lost. It wasn't as dramatic as some have made it to be.

Someone that lives in Knoxville was probably dreading the ribbing that was waiting for him - he has a right to be rubbed the wrong way by that, imho.

My father drafted me first when I made it to the egg as sperm. Thank you very much

Actually, you drafted yourself. You won that battle on your own. Pops blew one and away they fought, it's warfare. We are all amazing because we are here, to be born you have to be a natural winner.

One of my motivational speeches to kids.

I personally just think baseball is garbage. JMO. Not even trying to personally hate on you, just the sport it's pretty ****** to watch. Told my dad I quit when I was 8 to play fball and bball lol

Oh, just whine already. Did he tell you he doesn’t mind losing? Of course not. You just pulled that garbage out of your butt. I was a college athlete too. I learned a LONG ago that you never know what is going on in someone else’s head. I also learned some folks were so self absorbed that that think they can read minds through a TV screen.

I agree.

But at the same time, athletes that hate losing usually show it. Me personally, I don't see Knox giving a damn about what happens on that court. He wont listen to Cal and just stands around, he's checked out in my opinion.

Spelt been "ben" to begin with. Used the wrong version of "too" a couple times. Captilized "out" in without. Then started using the number 2 instead of spelling. Looked drunk to me guess just stupid

Nah, just typing on my phone in the dark. I go back and edit my posts all the time. It’s one of my faults. So what ? Lol. It’s a message board. You notice a LOT about me it seems lol...like a LOT (including a barrage of weird, snarky yet chummy PM’s)

Flattery I suppose ?

See, gave it away. 8 is when fast pitch pretty much begins.

You were totally scared of the ball[roll]
Played until I was 8 and nobody showed up on my team and I was forced to play like 4 positions at once. Played Fball so not scared of getting hit. Saw a lot of kids not good enough for the bball or fball starting lineup try their hand at baseball. Also baseball was just to slow versus playing linebacker or WRand making a hit/ catch for me

Spelling errors I always notice. Also why would typing in the dark on a smartphone hinder you? Also you can only send me PMs to start with bud.

Watch out buddy, @U9K has a son currently being recruited by D3 and NAIA schools. He recently posted about how he understands how being recruited feels now. I would imagine he was a big time athlete to produce such an incredibly athletic offspring

He’s like a slightly more intelligent version Keyzer Soze ;)

BTW, I haven't forgot about ya. I'll have that ready to send out sometime this weekend. You'll have to give me some contact info to send it, I've done this 2 or 3 times so no worries. I don't share that information and won't attempt to find you.

Remember the Harrison’s? Folks thought they’d checked out too.

Not at all. But (if this is true and I see no reason to doubt it) he should be pissed off. Nothing funny about the issues this team has and his piss poor play. It’s a game, I get that. He’s a teenager and I get that too. But basketball at UK is a pretty important spotlight and he knows that. If MKG (just to name one) were on this team and Knox was yucking it up after a game like this he’d be wearin’ the pizza on his face when he picked himself up off of the sidewalk. I think MKG ‘got’ UK basketball.
Fans "get it" alot more than kids from everywhere else "get it". They don't care like you do and they never will. MKG didn't either. He played hard because he was a player. But het didn't do it because of you.

I never thought that and the Harrisons had a totally different attitude. You could tell they were bulldogs who gave it their all and listened to the coach. They just had alpha personalities.

Knox is none of that.

I don't believe Knox really cares, he's going pro in a few months and knows it.

Scared of a baseball and scared of a tackle are two different things. Some of the kids can throw pretty hard now before they have control— that’s pretty scary for a kid to stand in the batters box.

Morgousky, that’s pretty impressive being drafted at all, 40th rd nothing to laugh at. Did you play minor league ball/ when?

Yeah put me down for footballs a "tougher sport" than baseball 10/10 times. Didn't mean to insult you tho. You're just talking to a guy that's hates baseball *shrugs*
