Why did we go neutral to start the second period in this match? I don’t get giving up a point in a tight match like this.

This team does not look very good at all. Even if we win, OU has multiple starters out so we would have gotten blown out otherwise. We desperately need a new coach and philosophy.

We look sluggish, lazy, and have no offense for the most part.

Typical Rutgers. Doesn’t matter sport, they find ways to lose in exact situations just like that all the time.

Goodale gotta go. Hes done all he can. They will out a statue of him in the building but this is the same stuff year in and year out. So boring. Doesn't develop national title contenders and barely makes AA anymore. If he's a true RU guy he steps down after the year.

My biggest issue is our kids are so physically weak. Why do we always look like we don’t lift weights in the offseason?

I think half the reason we don’t get to offense is we are underpowered.

hoooooooooooooo boy am I glad I did not tune into this one live tonight. If it wasn't for a Kosko tweet about the Soldano/SCW match, I would have forgotten about it completely. He truly has found his groove again at OU...

But god, what a weak effort against an undermanned team. What do you really tell your team in the locker room after that?

Soldano looked as bad as Rutgers…same kid…too small for the weight class…no offense…looking for big moves he hit on the scrubs he wrestled in his public school league.

It’s not like he beat Angelo Ferrari…

Time for a 2 for 1 booting....Schiano and Goodale.Schiano especially.Has half his family employed and they contribute jack ****. Take Goodale with them, along with "Mr.Run off the Mat" Pollard, and " Mr.2nd rate recruitments" Mytch. Keep Labriola. He is only one that has a resume and can coach.

They're not gonna say anything. They'll come up with summer b******* hypothesis of how we were under the weather and the snow made everybody tired

And football! Take Schiano and his lagger-on'r sons and toss them into the street, with Pikell and the whole Goodale staff... except for Labriola.

lol Greg isn't going anywhere. It's time for Goodale to step down though. He really got the program going, but it's clear we're just regressing at this point.

I cheered once tonight during Shawver's match, the rest was golf claps. There's just not much to get excited about.
When the whole sport keeps preaching that nothing matters until March, then the people aren’t going to care until March. I used to watch every dual, now I check casually. The sport is dying.

I still like what Mytch is doing. He's bringing in talented high school kids. Look what he's got to work with. We really just need some new juice at the very top. Someone that can really develop the team and get them physically in shape for the Big Ten.

Wrestlestat has it #16 Rutgers over #22 Oklahoma 24-7. I'm 22-12. Rutgers wins 125, 133, 141, 149 or 157, 174, and HWT. Thoughts?
Well, the team really made me eat my words on my prediction. Not having Joey O. hurt at 141 but come on. This "team" is dreadful. Only Shawver, White, and SCW showed up. 174, 197, HWT is a wasteland of castoff transfers. What a waste.

It's getting harder and harder to go to these duals in person. Last night sucked and today is going to suck in a different way. Wrestlestat predicts a 30-0 win over Drexel. Who cares?! I'm not going today.

Agree on Soldano. He looked the same and he is too small for 184. The only difference is that he wasn't feeding his leg to SCW looking for the big move. SCW has obviously seen that hundreds of times. SCW wrestled hard. He made 2 mistakes and they cost him the match. At least he was trying to score.

We suck in March too! And does not excuse horrendous performances by 75% of team

What a waste this trio of transfers has been. Pinto has been absolutely horrible. Hes regressed mightily since coming here

If their mission was to kill match attendance except for maybe 5 schools, they're going to succeed. Even tonight I was questioning, "do I really want to do this anymore?". After 13 yrs. of season tickets starting at 8, we're down to just the wife and myself.

If Oliveri can't go again, then I'd like to see Gibson at it. He might be outsized, but you can't knock his effort and action. Plus, I don't want to burn match against Drexel for Parkins. Wells was a quality opponent. He beat Shawver 1 or 2 times. Just wish we saw some offense, though, that Wells is difficult to score on. He's been a defensive wrestler his whole college career (from what I've seen at least).
