Keion looking good second half. Just had a great pass to Nick wide open under the basket. Nick of course looked like KB threw a steaming bag of **** at him and dropped it.
IQ has that swag going on now. Whitney is explosive but it looks like he is struggling with his shot and finishing tonight, but man he’s gonna posterize some people this year lol
I don’t know what to do with this situation. Do we start 3 points guards?? They are all under 6’4...but Quickley is so much better than Whitney, and Hagans and Maxey are locks to start.
EJ is forcing it on the offensive end and having trouble guarding the Post. He is running the floor extremely well, but he seems to be pressing everything else.
One of the few Cal teams that is better offensively than it is defensively this early.
I know it’s all good fun but I did cock my head at that one a little bit.
Dang. Our boys are getting a workout tonight. Starting to see a little fatigue.
starting to see some clunks from tired legs.

EJ gonna have to turn it on in the exhibitions or gonna come off the bench.
He will be first off the bench unless Brooks pushes him for the minutes
They’re a Sweet 16 team right now, with 5 months to go. I like where they’re at at this point of the season. But be prepared for what’s coming against a very experienced Mich St. team. It’s not gonna be a blowout because Izzo always holds his teams back early on, but I think they lose by 10-15 points. I hate saying that, because I’m always confident in our chances, but that’s a very tough first game.
carries himself like a professional. Looks dialed in for a big year
A little. But while Whitney has athleticism, he also has skills.
Oh I definitely think it’s too early to say that Whitney will underwhelm like Diallo but like Diallo, Whitney has tons of athleticism but looks to lack a consistent outside shot and doesn’t look to dribble the ball in traffic all that well (of course all of this from a blue-white scrimmage ).
No Whitney has the Size and strength to play down low as well. He is the type of player where less is more you don’t want him making flashy plays but with his frame and skills if he just makes the basic plays he is the type of guy that you look up and he has 12 points and 10 rebounds from just making easy plays
Richards still has no hands. At all.
Still have hope he can give us 8 points, 6 rebounds and 1-2 blocks a game.
