No Jamar Chaney + weak LDE + AU's spread offense should =

a 3-3-5 defense. Especially considering the strength of our defense lies with our safties.

It's probably too late to change schemes, but I would like to see:

DE: McCraney
NT: Love/Bowman
DE: LaMarcus Williams
LB: Wright
LB: Douglas
LB: Fitzhugh
S: Pegues
S: Glanton
S: Zach Smith/Charles Mitchell
CB: Washington
CB: O'Quinn

That would be a lot of speed on the field to stop the spread. And we really wouldn't lose much size because Fitzhugh is bigger than Karlin Brown and Sean Ferguson is small. That would also get our best 11 on the field.

Anyway, too late to change schemes, but we should at least go with 5 DB's.</p>

But not with Fitzhugh as a LB. Auburn would run all over us if we ran a 3-3-5 with 1 of the LBs being really just a safety playing out of position.</p>
