Finally, after many years enjoying Bryan hot dogs, we are welcoming a new hot dog to the stadium. Bryan Foods is moving out of the sports sponsorship business so we welcome Carolina Pride as the new official hot dog of the Mississippi State Bulldogs. Carolina Pride is a long-time supporter of college sports in the two Carolinas and now are branching westward. They are making a major commitment to Mississippi State and we are thankful to have their support.

How do we expect Syria to be civilized if we keep this up? No wonder that Twilight guy and the unpopular girl from everyone's high school broke up. Obamacare, Chick Fil A and a church in Crystal Spring all rolled into one. Who will stop the madness?!?

A staple of my regular springweekend menugone, just like that? My son didn't even get to eat one of the originals, dangit! Now that he's old enough to chew solid food, he'll be stuck with a pretender to the legacy!

I never thought I would live to see this day. Indeed, this is one of the most tragic days in Bulldog history. Even though I only get back once or twice a year for games one of the things I most anticipate is the scintillating taste of a juicy jumbo.

for over 20 years and managed the MSU account as to the marketing dollars paid and the use of our prodcuts. I could tell lots of interesting stories. From LT to TV commercials to game day deliveries.

Figured the day would come when Bryan Foods was no longer associated with MSU. Kinda sad.

Which hotdog did they use at Davis Wade? I believe the Big Dog was the one at the basketball games.

I never was much of a fan of the football version, but there will be an uprising if they don't come up with a comparable to the Big Dog at the Hump.

Tell us some LT stories. huh?

we sold them a 4oz Super Dog, back in the day, it was made with Pork and Beef and made for the "roller grill". Everybody loved them and still talked about them. Years later it was switched to an all beef product (beef council). At the football games they used a 2 oz wiener or what we call an 8count- smaller (8 to the lb). It was the same formulation but the problem - as it still is today- was the was way the concessions people prepared the product. It didn't matter if it was Aramark, Custom Foods or Clark, they all cooked the hot dogs the night before the game and held them in a warmer and served them the next day, not a very good idea. The hot dogs were sometimes cold, buns soggy or smushed, etc.. We got complaints for years. But MSU never wanted to invest in updating concessions due to a number of given reasons....

Used to get a couple of cases a year from Comer Packing in Aberdeen for cookouts and such. I haven't bought any lately, wonder if they will still be available? Damn good Hotdogs. You can't get any good breakfast sausage anymore since Bryan closed either.

Pm me and I can tell you where to get the best sausage you ever have eaten. Available on game days too...not too far from MSU.

StevePDawg - out with it!!!! Don't leave a teaser like that hanging in the wind! Out with the stories! Just think about it.... time to get that post count up and this type of material could become good enough for SixPackSpeak Remembers stuff.
