Nobody covers 3rd on a stolen base due to the shift. No baseball intelligence and poor coaching.

I don’t hate this team.. but I have come to hate Lemonis. I have defended and defended him. We have talent, we just play the most unintelligent baseball I have ever seen. It’s every year under this bucket head, lemon belly loser. I want him to go to ole miss and coach. So I can properly give him the hate he deserves.
We have decent players, but our fundamentals and baseball IQ have a lot to be desired
on that play the guy was able to take third because nobody covered second either. Man on first stealing and NOBODY covers second.
It is really amazing that a team at this level can be so consistently bad at the basics.
If only there was some book available on baseball fundamentals
We do not have talent. At least not upper echelon SEC talent. And when that’s the case, it makes your coaching look bad, and you end up doing stupid shlt and taking dumb chances.
And it’s all Lemon’s fault for recruiting metrics instead of players. Sad thing is all we need are a few studs, and it would make our average group a lot better. But studs don’t seem to want to play for Lemon. Generally they need to come from the high school ranks too, and that’s what really stands out about it.
Nailed it. We’ve got a lot of players who look good on paper but are soft & can’t play for sh*t. Who on this team looks like even a possible MLB player? Maybe Pico. Poor evaluation, poor recruiting & poor coaching. This should have ended 2 years ago.
How is Reeves not in the lineup today after the last two games he had? I also couldn’t understand pulling him in the 9th yesterday when he was 3/4 in the game.
I would take a D3 catcher. Any base runner is an automatic RISP

Watching this team game in and game out. I'm at the point that I believe no matter how this season goes it's best for this coaching staff to move on. They've lost the fan base and I don't think they can get them back. I'm not sure they can win the fan base back without winning the whole damn thing again this year.
I’m right here behind home plate and it looked like it. Looked like they were high-fiving with their knees, but it was more like an inner thigh rub.

Mississippi State runs it back with too damn many bad players in every sport. It's an epidemic of lazy recruiting around this campus.
The awful coaching is and has been something to see. Pinch hitting for Reeves last night when he had the best game of the season, sitting Stevens for Downs, then sitting Reeves today is just mind blowing. We're also fundamentally atrocious, which is nothing new for a Lemonis team. We can't move on from this guy soon enough
Who coaches the basics ?
Granted, these guys have been playing baseball since they were 5 yrs old.
Maybe most of who we have just aren’t great baseball players.
Maybe bad coaching is bad at helping improve not so great players.
I think that’s what we’ve gotten at MS.
And we’ve been on a now 4 year run of doing the same damn thing and getting the same damn results!
Watching this just makes me dislike Cohen more everyday.
