It's so cute when you see people this naive. So childlike and innocent.

With regard to the football program, only one voice is heard: $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Money talks, ******** walks. And some jerkoff fan writing an indignant letter to a regent is definitely in the "********" category. I can guarantee with 100% certainty that the secretary files those letters in the garbage without the regent ever even hearing about it.

Now put a check for a million dollars in the envelope and you'll get a personal lunch with the regent to discuss your concerns.

It's that or don't renew your season ticket donation.... Of course that can be a double sword when you want them back.

Agreed, but the thought of paying off 2 staffs in two years, $1 million won't be enough to get the staff fired. So until someone can pony up that kind of cash, all the talk is nothing but hot air BS.

What Bo did to the reputation of Nebraska football was 1000 times more damaging than what is currently happening. I would take this year any day over another second with that sociopath. We are rebuilding. If we go 3-9 two years in a row, then we may need to think about change. If Tommy is the QB again next year, improvement will be minimal. We lose three offensive linemen and our only stud defender will surely go pro. There are going to be serious growing pains. Vince Lombardi could not win with our lack of defensive talent.

So we're going to endure the garbage product we're seeing on the field, because we don't want to pay off 2 staffs in two years?

Pretty bad reasoning, and even more reason why Eichorst should be fired. He did this all on his own.

Riley and staff should thank their lucky stars they are getting paid whatsoever for this crap.

It is not the BOR job to micromanage the football program or any other department of the university, and you better hope that they don't start.

Wow...send all the emails you want dude. The ONLY things fans can do are stop donating, and stop buying tickets and gear. That's how fans make a statement. I'm not ready to stop doing any of the three quite yet. But I understand the frustration.

I'm sure the secretaries for the BoR have a special folder for all the outraged emails ;)

I've known a few regents on a first name basis. Emails from random fans don't do diddly. Write a big check and then call them if you want action. They were logging phone calls and emails pro vs con firing Pelini at one time but ultimately the decision was the administration and AD's to make once they knew the majority of the regents would support it.

Sparky - don't see that we have a choice if we want to have a team that plays at a high level again. Right now we are the worst team in the big 10 and that says a lot.
Don't be silly, everyone knows that year in, year out that is Purdue........Oh Wait........My Bad

Couldn't be further from the truth. This is only in the minds of Nebraska fans. We are now offically a joke. Before we just had a hot head for a coach.

This has nothing to do with Bo. This is about winning football games and a coach who sure the hell looks like Billy C part 2.

Actually, there are four pieces that explain this season. 1) Questionable play calling....Riley's fault. 2) Injuries...nobody's fault. 3) Astonishing lack of defensive talent on the roster....Bo's fault. 4) Brainwashed players refusing to give anywhere near 100% for the new coach......psycho Bo's fault. So, Bo factors in on 2 of the 4 issues and Riley on 1.

If your boy Bo wasn't the sociopath that most seem to realize now, he would have positively been able to get a solid job, rather than a middle school coaching job in his home town. Everyone in the business knows the man is a fungus.

You couldn't be more wrong.

Bo was/is and azzhule, no doubt. But even 7 wins in 2015 and the focus would still be on Bo and his lunatic rage on the sidelines.
3 wins and getting blown off the field by good and bad alike (just wait, it will happen) will be devastating! God help us if/when it continues into next season.

I like the idea but your letter should really be addressed to Warren Buffet. He's the only one right now that could donate enough money to right this ship.

Well someone turned the heat up. Great job. The letter released showed SE is not a man of his word and a liar. Remember he does not comment on a coach during the season and 90% of the feedback was positive.

It would take back to back 3-9 or 4-8s for this to be given ANY thought whatsoever, so you may as well relax.

I've got a question for you. Why do you believe so strongly Riley will be a success? Why the loyalty? He was barely above average at Oregon State. Was less than .500 in conference games there. (I've heard the excuses. No resources. Yet he loses to two FCS schools his last five years in Corvallis. I am willing to bet Eastern Washington and Sacramento State both have far smaller budgets than Oregon State). Then he comes to Nebraska where his lackluster coaching results in bad losses (Again the excuses, Bo influence, Bo's bad recruiting, injuries, lack of talent, bad TA play, the stars didn't line up correctly, wore the wrong color pants, anything as long it does not pertain to our head coach's coaching abilities). So less than a year ago you didn't know anything about Mike Riley. Now, he has your complete and total support. Why?

Only total fricken idiots want Riley fired already!

What he said.

Nobody is happy with this situation, but if you really care about the program and want it to do well your efforts are better placed supporting it because nothing is changing this season. Short of a family illness, this is what we have, so get behind it or move out of the way. Nobody is going to take the call to MR seriously and anyone advocating it is being very short sighted.
