WTF...

Who owns the also-ran TV stations in Jackson? Like channel 35? In real cities, these nuthin stations pretty much exist so local sports can be aired when nobody else is picking them up and contracts already dictate what's on the major local networks. What's Jackson's excuse?

Basketball TV schedule is set in advance and can't get changed... the SEC just got unlucky that State/LSU turns out to be the biggest game of the year to this point...

MSU was picked to finish 4th in the SEC West after losing 3 starters including 2 major pieces of the offense.

But its really not that big of a deal, this is the last season of the stupid raycom deal.
Next season, almost all if not all, basketball games will be on the tube in some fashion..Between the 3 ESPN stations of Espn, Espn2, EspnU, sometimes ESPN Classic, the regional stations that raycom were using,
ESPN on ABC, ESPN Full Court, ESPN360 it will be on somewhere.

Up here in Des Moines, every Iowa State conference game is televised on the local ABC affiliate. Weeknight games and Weekend games...they are televised.

Thats something that would be great to see for MSU.

Show every game in every sport. Maybe not volleyball and golf but they could show the big three sports. There is no reason not to.

The local PBS affiliate televises just about every single Hilltoppers game. So I can watch every thrilling minute of Sun Belt action (except @ Lafayette since THEY DON'T HAVE MONITORS! ARE THEY EVEN D-I?). The audio is pretty much the radio broadcast, but it beats nothing. This has come in handy exactly once earlier this season.

My grandfather lives in Grundy Center, IA. Visited him this past Christmas and the temp was -2 with a windchill of -35. Frooze my *** off.

Also, local affiliates up there show alot of college wrestling. Something we don't have down in south.
