Full melt. Odds of losing that game up 6 late were basically microscopic. Get a stop and it’s over. Grab a rebound and it’s over. Make an inbounds pass and it’s over. Make a free throw and it’s over.

I guess the cardiac comebacks were bound to even out eventually. Shame.

This is what a coach plays on video tape on how to gift wrap a game to another team.

It’s so bad, it’s comically a joke.

Total collapse. Game should have been over with a minute to go. Clark has a bad habit missing his first FT. Parker’s FT was down then out. AJ stepping on the line was awful not to mention fouling a three pt shooter? Gotta inbound that ball there after a timeout.
Anyone have any idea why Clark wasn’t in at the end?

Also Williams played terrible D on three point shots in the first half and I thought Fisher was playing great. Sha subbing Williams for Fisher there was puzzling and of course Williams gives up the three?
Complete collapse. The more I watch AJ the more I believe he’s not a kid with good basketball IQ.

The team is too sloppy with the ball. Constantly. It gets you to a .500 team or worse. This high ranking defense has got us at a losing record in this weak league.

Sha gets a lot of cover by SHU being a “poverty school”.

I should bet a million we won't win another game. It's how pathetic these players. I want to know the players whose agents evily are convincing them to play for their own. I hope they feel how pathetic they are seeing their careers go to ruin. I don't care last years team over this team cause you know these guys are 100 times better than their record suggests but they have pathetic mindset that is selfish they will sacrifice missing the main goal of any team. This program needs to disband. Us fans expect minimum. I would've lived missing the tournament if we didn't see this BS.

This team is DONE and don't want to hear Shaheen's demeaning of the press and doing victim complex about his pathetic coaching. Just admit most guys care about themselves and don't care we will lose every remaining game in embracing fashion nd will lose first game of tournament again probably to this undeserving program like Creighton I won't respect anymore cause we would run miles if this program had the money and investment compared to them.

Biggest mistake was taking Fisher out. Was playing inspired, hit a 3, made his free throws and then pulled him out for Fisher and Creighton gets offensive rebound.

Maybe a matchup issue?

Budd not in at the end mind boggling.

The fact that She didn't do his post game interview with Popkin is pathetic and pisses me off. Be a man and face questions after you and your team blew a must win game

That's how he operates. He thinks he's big time, but what he really is, is a coward and a poor basketball coach. Massive, massive ego.

Trout had 17 TOTAL points in his previous 5 games. So of course we leave him wide open all night and he makes 6 3's.

Cannot make it up.

That sub of Williams for Fisher was strategy to get a much better Free throw shooter and ball handler in the game given that the Blue Jays were going to be fouling. It made perfect sense, Did it work out NO. But every coach in the country would make that move at that point of the game.

My gripe was why Clark was out. We ended the game with Parker, Williams, Simpkins, Staton-McCray, Payne.

Agree not understanding why Clark was not in the game. Sha needs to explain that. Watching some of the huddles during the game it almost appeared like there was some arguing with Sha by some of the players. I may be wrong but the body language was there.

You’d think you’d want your lead ball handler and tenacious defender on the floor but what do I know. Yet we ended with the backup who froze and the team failing to call a timeout, not to mention an inability to stay in front of the shooters.

🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

I don't agree shu67. Fisher may not have played good defense in the first half. Have to watch a replay. I'm not for taking guys off the court that are playing well in that game. Fisher was playing at a higher level for him. In other games Sha keeps guys on the floor that are doing well, Rivera being a case in point. You can add Hines to the equation too. Fisher may have missed an important free throw. How many points can you make the argument that Mike was responsible for or was part of allowing? In addition, why does it have to be on the court or saddled to the bench. If he wanted to use Williams, then why keep him off the court for a long time and then put him in at crunch time? Could have gone offense defense with Hines and Payne too. Some Monday morning QB from us I do agree with you.

Still it all came down to making free throws by guys who are decent at it. They make them we win even with all the miss plays in the last 30 seconds.

Good points but it is easy second guessing the results. If we made the free throws there would be a different outcome and different posts!

The FT shooting on this team is very inconsistent game to game. While we’re average overall, it’s been terrible in BE play where we’re 9th/11 teams at just over 69%.
