What weight do you think he ends up at? Have to imagine PSU will at least kick the tires given the strong relationship with AWA and would also be a nice PR move to flip one of DT’s guys
149/157 range.

If we are interested in him, it still likely depends on what happens with Bassett. We already have Perry and Herring there, and are recruiting Mangano and Borge (both 2027).

Wolbert would be a deceptively big loss for DT. Not because he can't absorb it (there's a reason the kid might be looking around) but because I think his ceiling is quite high. AWA kid and a big favorite of John Mesenbrink also. Kind of shocked because I don't think he was on PSU's radar but he's been jumping levels and gave the bigger Raney all he wanted at Fargo.

Has all the signs of a future star from Askren, high attack rate, good scrambling, unlimited motor and not ahead of the curve strength wise yet.

Would be a huge get for the Tan boys if Tom can pull it off.
Agreed. OSU staff thinks very highly of Wolbert. That would be a huge loss.

If he leaves OSU, which is a distinct possibility, he may end up at Michigan.

Caden Rodgers wrestles at Lehigh and his dad Mike Rodgers who was a 2 time AA at Lock Haven is the current head coach at F&M
If you’re interested in engineering, Lehigh is an excellent choice. I don’t think F&M even offers it.

Was committed to Pitt:

PA AAA 215 state champ. Had a good folk year -- 48-1, beat the S2 and S4 guys multiple times, and pinned S3. Also hit a pretty big spurt this past year, both in weight and results.

I suspect he'll return at 215 this year. If he moves up, he might be the only guy in PA capable of seriously challenging Dean Bechtold at HWT.

Gonna be a college HWT -- he thinks he'll end up around 6-5.

I can break this code. It’s a period. The first period in the thread. First period. Bo Nickal pinned a guy in the first period. To beat Ohio State. Tom Ryan is a doofus. Yeah, I agree! That Tom Ryan is KOOKY! Good post, Sully! 👍❤️

I find it odd that there have been no updates on PSU recruiting Bassett and Miller. I haven't seen anything about a home visit, Miller's OV, etc. Has Miller not taken his OV? I find it weird there have been no updates, almost like PSU isn't even recruiting them anymore. But if that was the case, why did PSU make Miller's final four. Even the guys that usually feed me information have been quiet. The most trusted source I know has told me he'll have more information in a week or so, but don't want to reveal anything just yet.

Saw this today on Facebook. Don't know how much weight to give it.

I doubt that it will be Nebraska. A big turnoff for the Bassett family with Iowa was the travel costs associated with RTC. With Melvin and Keegan being class of 2027 and 2028 grads, the family would likely face the same issue with Nebraska.

lolololol.

It wasn't a "turn off" - they wanted Iowa/HWC to pay for the travel costs - despite the fact that he was getting plenty from his NIL deal.

An offer was made. an offer was refused. Bassett family acting like OSU and PSU are actively recruiting them is merely to continue a facade and drive up the price.
