Wonder where is going? That's a tuff place to win... conference is rough!

That job will take an incredible coach to win in that conference. NG's schedule is brutal to say the least. I don't see them winning any games next year with the current schedule.

I seem to remember he played at WCU? But to leave and take a pay cut at college, he must really want to be a college coach. WCU pays crap.
Have you seen the salaries that coaches in NC make? It couldn’t be much lower, especially coming from Gaston County.

Yes. Taught and coached past 22 years. Have you seen the salaries of coaches at WCU? Even worse for most assistants.

Worked there for three years tough place to win. NC teachers pay is terrible Gaston is not even on par with the better paying districts. Also to work in Gaston County being of a certain background will help. Now it is close to Charlotte and there is stuff to do there

I have seen the salaries at WCU and Gaston County and they are both terrible. WCU now has one of the largest salary pools in their conference though and I bet it would be about even with Gaston County pay.

North Gaston hire Dan Rothwell as their new HC. He has coached in Michigan and most recently in Gaston/Charlotte areas. Good luck coach at NG
