North Rowan 33 - East Davidson 32 2OT

East Davidson played a great game last night and should have had the game won in regulation. One ref decided he would throw a flag from 20 yards “behind the play” and call helping the runner which called back a TD just before the end of the game. Dumbest call I have ever seen in a high school game at the worst possible angle. The kids from East gave 110% the whole game and pretty much ran the ball at will on North Rowan. The QB from East is only a sophomore but that kid has great field vision running the flexbone offense. The RB is a junior and he is a lot to handle as well. With everything being said it was a great game to watch.

ED stayed close for sure. Do they not have a kicker that can do an XP? Either team could have won the game in the first OT with a kick.
