North Rowan at North Stanly

First place is on the line in the YVC. Both teams come into this game undefeated in the conference, North Rowan at 4-0 and North Stanly at 3-0.

What is your thoughts on this game?

I think North wins it and North will be in first place in the conference after this game.;)

NR is still the top team in the YVC.. it amazes me that they haven't won a football state title with all that talent and years of winning and beating people. They have what like, 15 state track titles, basketball titles, etc and zero football.

Takes more to win a football title in my opinion. They have had some good teams in 3A, 2A, and 1A plus back in the WNCHSAA. Just never got it done with only one title game appearance.

I dont think NS beats NR. It will be closer than expected though. East Rowan and North Rowan were pretty well matched, so expect something close to the NS and ER game.

Susan I do think It will b a close game. NS has almost all its Dudes back this week. They have been playing with couple main players out. Can’t wait to see a healthy full NS team play.

If NS defense stops #22 (RB) they could make a lot of trouble for NR. Albemarle should have beat NR and we see what NS did to Albemarle. In my eyes they controlled the game the entire night. NS by 3 TD’s

Albemarle was without 9 guys after the NR game. Including their best o lineman. I don’t think NS did anything to Albemarle lol come on now. NR wins 35-20

Nation, they didn’t do anything? Come on now!! They beat them. And if you were there, the Comets dominated the game.

And let’s answer why (if there were) 9 guys out during NS....

Nation, why don’t you just stick to women’s basketball!!

My take on Albemarle North Stanly game.. the score was 14-7 .When North scored with a minute left..Albemarle could not get untracted on offense and I think some of that was the north defense..they played very well...As for NR and the NS game I think this will tell u s just how good NS is....We will find out tomorrow night.....

Buddy, you are 100% correct about that game. And Albemarle should have beat NR. Why does that not play a role in your decision of tonight’s game? We shall see....

One there was no domination from NS. My kids due to district lines go to NS I actually live 1.5 miles Away from AHS where my kids will be attending next year. You bring my kids up on Social media again we can speak in person my friend. And when you find somebody in the county that can beat my basketball team come talk to me. But if you think that was a dominating game from NS you need to lay off the weeeeeed

I don’t control other coaches and never excuse them, but I didn’t hear any excuses when we laid 30 on you during basketball season. Maybe you have the same thoughts as the parent during bball season huh? Smh

Also to be clear about NS I have 0 issues with any kids I have met from NS but I can speak of direct knowledge of situations that NS coaches have been involved in if you would like I have very strong opinions about

Football is a crazy game...Albemarle barely loses to NR 36-33...NS beats Albemarle 20-7..NR beats NS 34-8....Guess NR wins the conference but just look at those scores..smh

North Rowan was head and shoulders better than North Stanly. If North Rowan doesn’t try a fake punt on their own 30 yard line with 30 seconds left in the half North Stanly doesn’t score.North Stanly is still better this year than I thought they would be with all the talent they lost from last year.

My mouths writing and ready to cash in. Additionally only one has participated in youth sports there so speak up. For the simple fact you want to speak on my kids but not own up to who you are shows the keyboard warrior you are. Furthermore as I stated before there are people at NS especially kids and parents and some of the coaches I have a tremendous amount of respect for. It’s the ones that influence kids and show up at kids jobs and those programs that I don’t. Luckily one coach is gone and the new coach will do a great job.

How did the game go last night? I was disappointed I actually picked NS to score 20.

Furthermore this is about how smart you and tucker are lol. I work with kids from all schools especially NS and WS and help them get into colleges. So when you can stand up to this level give me a shout. You can probably ask around to some of the parents and even coaches and hear about me. Good day keyboard warrior

I picked them at 5-6 possibly 7 wins this year with their non conference schedule. They are at 3 now. I did pick them to beat NS and they didn’t. Being down 9 players is not an excuse it’s a fact. On any 1A team if you are down 9 players especially your leader and best O line player does that not make a impact?
