North Stanly would beat East Surry and it’s not even close. East Surry would be hard-pressed to beat Pamlico and Riverside.
I was sitting sideline ,and the qb qb hid the ball on handoffs like a magician ,12 hell of a player .
North Stanly had their chance this year with all the recruits they assembled. The same fans that were on here crowing have been absent since Tarboro held them to 5 first downs. North Stanly will return to being guess what? North Stanly. They pulled kids from three counties, had multiple college players and still couldn't get the job done. On the bright side next season they'll be able to enjoy numerous Homecoming Ceremonies once again.

The only reason MA won the first game ,was because of a blind ref,skipped passes off the ground don’t count last time I checked.You fools in MA fed the news so much crap ,u starting to believe it yourselves,MA true has had good teams no doubt,but this years team wasn’t crap.Just keep reading your newspaper it’s the only glory you guys get.Watch this year and see what your superstar qb gets passing wise,no Donovan green to catch those wobbly passes.Word is Gosnell May be leaving East ,hopefully u could get him,because Gosnell and boaz are real qbs .
Jeez, LET IT GO man! First, no one said the loss of Donovan didn’t hurt. But it’s irrational to say Donovan being out was a 40pt difference. It absolutely hurt MA, so did Smith playing at about 70%, but you can’t blame a 40pt loss on one guy being out (who by the way only had 10yds in game 1). You act like MA rolled ES by 40pts in the first meeting. It took a skip-hop TD pass (that should have been an incompletion) and a last minute TD drive for MA to win in game 1. ES can just as easily claim they should have never lost to MA in game 1. But facts are facts - MA beat ES in game 1, ES beat MA in game 2. It’s time everyone moved on. Congrats to the Bears on another Conference Championship. Congrats to the Cards on a Western Regional Championship. MOVE ON!!!
Davis is good. So was Williams. You know what the common denominator with both of those talented RBs has been? Coaching. The chemistry and the leadership at North Stanly is abysmal at best. You add in Rhone, the QB from West Stanly, the lineman from Cabarrus and a couple from Albemarle. I think at the end of the day you can win 8-9 games with their schedule with superior athletes. When they face teams with far superior coaching and similar, but less than equal talent they get sent home. They arguably have had the most talent in the West and comparable talent this year in the East. What do they have to show for it? A watered down YVC Title with West Montgomery being down and two playoff wins. So before you call them "that group" maybe you should discuss the shortcomings of North Stanly. East Surry would beat them. Mt. Airy would beat them. They fell apart, as always, when Tarboro out coached them from the opening kick off. Once they knew they were beat they did what they normally do. Argue on the sidelines, blame the line for not blocking and on defense, well, if they can't out athlete you they have no schemes, plan or discipline.
If Mt Airy or any other team had Gosnell I don't think he'd see much time at qb alot hes much better at other spots

So a Cabarrus County kid just up and decided to attend North Stanly? Was it their food in the cafeteria or their outstanding campus life? Speaking of dumb...you are if you think that nobody from North was in Rhone's ear. That's a fact. Don't worry about West Montgomery. They don't exist anymore. Guess what? West Montgomery was the Homecoming Opponent once according to the records. Against Eastern Alamance, a 3A school at the time. They had Tyrone Satterfield. All State RB, Shrine Bowl player ended up at JC Smith. West Montgomery pulled the WFMY "Upset of the Week" with a long TD run by the Warriors. Yes, West Montgomery has a past and its future is Montgomery Central High School. North Stanly has a past. Four playoff wins in 57 years, numerous D1 players on a 1AA team in the last seven years and only two YVC Titles to show for it. Both in years that West Montgomery had found out it was closing. Enjoy being a never was or will be. You can call West a "has been." But as least we were something.
north didn't want that kid from Cabarrus, if you actually knew what you were talking about you would know he came to north because he was kicked out of his old school, norths coaches spent more time trying to teach him how to actually play football than he was on the field.... he was kicked off the team because he caused too many problems and disciplinary reasons.. he isn't even enrolled at the school anymore, it would greatly help your arguments if you actually knew what you were talking about
I've only mentioned one players' name on this site. I will not mention another. The only reason I mentioned Rhone is because he was being discussed by name by other posters, most from North Stanly. Look, we all know it's legal for kids to transfer without having to sit out. We all know that North Stanly brought kids in for the past few years. Here's a fact. You didn't win anything other than the YVC. Keep defending a team that was put together and not built. Nobody in the State of NC outside of New London has ever or will ever take you as a serious football school. Especially with D1 talent and three playoff wins in 7 years!! LOL!!! West Montgomery had that many in several seasons.

You have FOUR playoff wins in 57 years. You aren't even considered a blip on the radar at any level of football in the state of NC. West Montgomery had more wins in 10 years than you had in 30. Gosnell is 2x better than that QB y’all got at MA like I said in an earlier post most overrated player I’ve ever watched pure product of a kid with a decent arm throwing it up to superior athletes (Greene brothers) you’ll see when he doesn’t have the stats he had this year in the next 2 years combined

I sure did!! It was what should have happened considering you were playing a JV team. Glad you finally got a meaningful "W" in the miserable history of your school. That "W" you got over the Warriors was your Super Bowl. You ever play for a Regional or State Championship? Didn't think so. Don't worry, nobody has ever played for one from North Stanly. Now run along and polish up the only two trophies North Stanly has ever won and will EVER win.
We should schedule Montgomery central next year so you can see us beat your sorry 2a team that won’t make the playoffs.

Always good to have a guaranteed "W" on the schedule. Unless that recruiting pipeline really heats up before next season North Stanly hasn't got squat. Losing 17 seniors and only two recruits mentioned so far doesn't fair too well for you. Like I said before, you comets come around about every 54 years or so.
