NG showing again that they are the best team in the state. Too many athletes.
You have smoked yourself retarded...... Weddington could have won this game and NOWAY in hell you would stay within 4 scores of Crest, Shelby, or South Point.
The NightHawks did excel at one thing though; playing dirty. #6 and #31 need to be taken to the woodshed. ZERO discipline or class.
Good gracious, son, you've given me so many options where to begin but I reckon I'll begin at the beginning. Weddington could have won this game, it is true. NG could have won by 30 points, that is also true. I could have won the lottery or you could have been born less brilliant, both are true. There's a lot in "could," which rhymes with "should" and "would" and "good," which is what NG is - just plain good.
You are absolutely correct in saying that there is "NOWAY" I could stay within 4 scores of Crest, Shelby or SP. I've lost a step or 3 at age 49 and 40 pounds over my playing weight but even at my best, I doubt I could play an entire team of high school young'uns within 4 scores or 80 year. If you're insinuating that I'm part of that Roscoe Train, you're sadly mistaking me for a Nighthawk. I don't drink that demon rum, although I have enjoyed the malberry squeezins that TripleS feller has poured from time to time in rhapsodizing that Purple Gang of Miscreants.
Nawp, I'm just an impartial bystander who has seen their destructive fury up close more than once and learnt not to bet against them. I know folks from assorted little burgs and hamlets around the state, esp. the ones confined by vertical earth, tend to think their local outfit is better'n yorn as is the workings of their little DNA strands. And they might be right if they quit the classification mess and just let all the teams play. But NG has a proven track record as a Winner, sometimes at the expense of some of them outfits you described, well, one in particular.
Yeah, they play a little dirty but that didn't stop them from Winning, although it could have (oops, there's that word again!). Still, it didn't and Johnny Rascal and his Purple Dirty Birds, however he got them all wearing the same uniform, are toting another wooden monument back to their Evil Nest. Life ain't fair and good guys don't always win but Northern Guilford sure does seem to and it's no secret why: They have better players. I can see that, clearly, and I didn't have to "smoke myself retarded," although I wouldn't be agin trying that again sometime as a way of reliving my youth.
You should, too, it might help calm your bitterness and angst and lack of clarity in cranial matters. Accept that the best team isn't always the one you wanted to win or even has the nicest people among its membership. It could be cathartic and all.
